Jubilee Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

I recently dined jubilee restaurant located near Thalassery General Hospital, which boasts years of experience in the culinary field. Unfortunately, my recent experience was far from satisfactory. The quality of the food served was notably poor.

Upon entering, the person responsible for collecting payments exhibited an unfriendly and arrogant demeanor, which was quite unwelcoming. Initially, we ordered biriyani, but to our disappointment, it was served with undercooked rice. Hoping for a better experience, we subsequently ordered fried rice, only to encounter the same issue with the rice being undercooked.

Regrettably, when we brought this matter to the attention of the owner, he responded with insensitivity and made jokes at our expense. This was the second time we had experienced such poor service and food quality at this establishment.

I recently visited this restaurant and was left with a sour taste, not from the food, but from the appalling behavior of the cashier.

The issue arose when I attempted to pay using G-Pay, but due to poor network connectivity, the transaction took a bit longer to process. Instead of being understanding or patient, the cashier became rude and agitated, demanding that I "make it fast" or pay with cash instead.

What's worse is that I explicitly told the cashier that I didn't have cash on hand, but they continued to behave rudely.

While the food might be decent, the cashier's behavior left a lot to be desired. As a customer, I expect a basic level of respect and courtesy, especially when I'm paying for a service.

Until the management takes steps to address this issue and ensure that their staff treats customers with dignity, I would not recommend this...

To start with, there was no menu card when we asked for it . We saw the 4.5 rating in Google and headed for it. So I don't want anyone else to end up there hence I am giving this rating. Not worth 4.5 rating. Normal or below normal food quality. Decent cleanliness, parking facility is there. When we saw the bill, we came to know why they didn't gave the menu card. Heavily priced for the quality of food that they served...So guys if possible don't end up here, try...
