Disgusting Despite all the below reviews, I went to KFC Thiruvalla as my Kids insisted to have KFC. I strongly recommend KFC Holding Co and Deyvani International PVT limited to review the commends and to conduct a customer satisfaction survey and to necessary action to bring this outlet to the KFC standards or to revoke this franchise if the standards doesn’t get any better. We are ready to accept KFC in Central Travancore towns with all the limitations in space, ambiance, parking but why should we comprise in Quality, Customer service standard and hygiene. I visited the branch on July 17, 2019 around 8:00 pm. The parking was full but only half of the tables were occupied inside the outlet. There was a queue of 3 customers at the TIL point while I entered the store and I joined the queue. Hygiene: The cashier was wearing a hair net while the staff in the Kitchen and the one filling the Chips were not wearing one, couldn’t understand the logic behind this. None of the staff was wearing gloves and there were busy in filling the buckets and Fries with bare hands. The serving table /Cashiers table were not clean and was sticky.
Customer Service: I felt like all the one standing the queue are idiots as the cashier was spending taking orders from customers who were no in Queue. The customer in front of me asked the cashier “If there is a queue or not “, then he answered in rude way “you were looking at the menu, so first decide what you will buy”. He was having an aggressive tone and have an attitude like he is serving free food to all. so, Take it or leave . So I request the Management to look into this matter as we have very high expectation when KFC came to our town, but you can see that most of the customers are disappointed...
Read moreKfc outlet in Thiruvalla is one of the recent restaurant chain in the town, at Club 7 mall. The outlet witnesses frequent rush, even during working days, unlike other leading restaurant outlets in the city. Being stuffed within a relatively smaller architecture, the interior spacing is not very adequate. That's the prime reason for the long-standing queues at the bill desk. Also, billing facilities are so less. For the entire customers, only a single bill desk is available, resulting in monotonous waiting times, even before ordering, which is not so appreciable.
Talking about the quality of food, it is fairly appreciable & comparable with most of the outlets in the nearby regions, including Kottayam, Ernakulam, Trivandrum. Serving time is not so long, even trending outlets at nearby districts pose long waiting time for the ordered food to get delivered. The weekly offer days are the major attraction, which becomes quite worthy for the customers, at attractive costs. It's even worthy for casual get-togethers with friends.
Even during peak hours, items may sometimes go out of stock (the item which I found to get over early is the Virgin Mojito & 7up Crusher). Mayonnaise served at this outlet does not offer the taste of garlic, rather it tastes more sweet.
Food quality matches well with other outlets, improvements are to made for the billing facilities....
Read moreI recently visited KFC in Tiruvalla, expecting the same quality and experience I usually get in KFC outlets in Western countries, but unfortunately, it fell short on several fronts.
First, the quality of the food was disappointing. The chicken wasn’t as crispy or flavorful as what I’ve had in KFC locations abroad. The breading felt soggy, and the chicken pieces seemed smaller, with more bone than meat. The signature spices and flavors that make KFC stand out were lacking, which was quite a letdown.
Secondly, the variety was limited compared to the Western menu. While I understand that local adaptations are necessary, it felt like the classics were compromised. For example, there were fewer options for sides, and some popular items like the mashed potatoes or corn were missing entirely. Most importantly, the chicken drumsticks were powdered with chilly powder which is quite oddly feeling and strange.
Lastly, the service was subpar. The staff seemed no interest in customers. The dining area was clean or well-maintained as I would expect from an international brand like KFC.
Overall, KFC in India doesn’t seem to match the standard KFC experience that I’m used to in Western countries. I hope the management takes steps to improve food quality of food and service, so that customers in India can enjoy the same KFC experience...
