I had a fantastic dining experience, as the food was nothing less than phenomenal in a neat local eatery. We began with Sri Lankan Devil Chicken, hot and spicy as one can think-has-a-spicy punch of flavor through its strong spices. The sweet corn soup, which is available in both vegetarian and chicken options, was comfortingly sweet and rich in flavor, making it a perfect way to begin the meal.
Made an array of dishes to showcase the restaurant's extensive offerings, we dived into the mains. The Millennium Alfam stood out, consisting of chicken pieces tenderly blanketed in a rich, aromatic sauce. Continued, the choices showed that Mongolian chicken fried rose was just outstanding; the rice was perfect, and the marriage of tender chicken, vegetables, and spices made for an exciting dish. Regular Alfam and Peri Peri Alfam-those were both excellent, but I favoured the latter with a nice spicy kick. Everything was done with soft and flaky parottas, placing along with the rich lip-smacking gravies.
The parreer butter masala was continuing glory neath creamy textures and decadent luxuries; the Wayanad beef roast was savory heaven-once again rich and unrepentant, especially when coupled with chewy nool parotta.
To conclude my meal, of course, with refreshing Sulaimani tea-a perfect end to an unforgettable feast.
In general, an experience with the dreamsta, where every dish provided something special on its plate. The rita has a style of putting into use traditional Sri Lankan and Indian spices, giving it a distinct local touch, marking an unforgettable eating-out experience. Highly recommended for any foodie who wants his plate of authentic, vibrant, and...
Read moreWe’ve been regulars at Kiriyanthan’s— it’s always been our go-to for client lunches and team meals. But after our last few visits, I don’t think we’ll be going back.
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was just off. No smile, no eye contact from any of the staff. It honestly felt like we were disturbing them by being there. For a place with such a big name, we expected professionalism and basic hospitality — a warm welcome, a bit of etiquette, even just a friendly look.
One lady taking our order was clearly impatient. When we took a moment to decide, she snapped, “What you really want?” — which is not something you expect to hear in a decent restaurant. Then, when we noticed an error in their menu pricing that had us overcharged, the receptionist reacted as if we were the ones at fault. She didn’t even acknowledge the mistake. The bill was only corrected after the manager stepped in. It was just ₹40, and it’s not about the money — it’s about the attitude.
Overall, the staff seemed uninterested and frustrated, as if they weren’t even paid enough to do their job and were showing that frustration to customers. Such a disappointing experience from a place we once trusted. Sadly, we can no longer recommend...
Read moreRecently, I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant, and it was an experience worth every penny! Here’s my take on the food I enjoyed:
Kunju Kozhi Fry The kunju kozhi fry was an absolute delight! Perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, it had the right balance of spices that elevated the flavor.
Porotta and Beef Roast The porotta was soft, flaky, and fresh—just as it should be. Paired with the beef roast, which was rich, spicy, and cooked to perfection, it made for a heavenly combination.
Chicken Biriyani The chicken biriyani was a fragrant masterpiece. Every grain of rice was well-cooked, the spices were balanced, and the chicken was tender and flavorful.
Appam The appams were soft and had the perfect hint of sweetness. They paired beautifully with the curries, making it a wholesome experience.
Ambience and Service The restaurant had a warm, inviting atmosphere with prompt and courteous staff. The service was excellent, making the entire meal even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to indulge in authentic, flavorful dishes. This was a 5-star experience in...
