Thadikkaran Touchings — Restaurant in Kerala

Dear All,

Please avoid this place if you care about health and fresh food. Honestly, this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.

We ordered Pork Fry, Pork Perattu, Beef Fry, and Porota — but none of them were fresh.

I specifically went there for the pork dishes, but the pork was completely spoiled, clearly cooked days earlier, and had the unpleasant smell and taste of reused oil. The beef was so stale it was impossible to eat. As for the Porota, it was nothing like a proper porota — just a tough lump of maida that couldn’t even be chewed.

I sincerely advise you not to waste your time or health here. I also urge FSSAI / local food safety authorities to inspect this place thoroughly. My experience isn’t an exception — you can confirm it by looking at other reviews as well

We were expecting delicious pork dishes, but nothing tasted as tasty as the hype created by celebrities and vloggers.

I went there only for pork. I didn't try the other dishes, so I can't comment on them. But it's surely not a good spot for pork.

The restaurant owner is a courteous gentleman. He took our orders without delay, though the food was served a bit late due to confusion among crew members from northern states.

The food was average. I felt the quantity of the pork pieces was less in dishes with an excess of skin parts. If I hadn't had pork from anywhere else, I would have accepted the lame excuses given to me there. But I am kind of sure of it.

Service was manageable. The atmosphere is nothing but a few plastic tables and chairs where you can sit and eat a meal.
