We visited LaFair on a Sunday for Lunch. There was no crowd so it was easy to find a seat. I'd been here before and there was no rush then also. We ordered some Mandi and Soups First of all, the food; was great. We had Lebanese Chicken Mandi and Malabar Spicy Chicken Mandi. I personally have no complaints, it was okay. The soup, Nadan beef soup, was delicious 😋. Don't buy the chicken one, this was just wow. I'd say, buy beef ribs Mandi, I didn't have it but they were recommending it but I was worried about the meat quantity. If you're planning to eat a proper meal, try it. It shouldn't disappoint. On to the worst part, service. The waiter never came to us even though only 2-3 tables had customers in them and we had to shout to get attention. Then they took the order, and went again. I don't know why they wouldn't want to serve. We had to finally settle for what we had instead of ordering more. The funny thing was the power went out and we were sitting in the sark for almost 15 seconds. I mean they couldn't afford a backup inverter or something even though the food is expensive. Coming to the price, it was a bit on the higher end, I'd rather go to Raravis or MRA for the same price.

After a long time, I visited Lafair Restaurant in Thalassery today and I must say it was a wonderful experience. We tried their Mandi, Chicken Biryani, and Dragon Chicken, and each dish was absolutely superb in taste. The Mandi was perfectly cooked with fragrant rice and tender meat, the Chicken Biryani had that authentic flavor Thalassery is famous for, and the Dragon Chicken was rich, spicy, and full of flavor. The quality of food, portion size, and presentation were all impressive. The ambiance of the restaurant is neat and comfortable, making it a pleasant place for family dining. The staff were polite and attentive, ensuring the service was smooth. Apart from what I tried, I would strongly suggest their Kerala Meals, which is also well known and served with tasty side dishes. Overall, Lafair remains one of the best dining options in Thalassery for both traditional and contemporary dishes. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal.

While in Thalassery, visited Lafair with Family including my mom and sis. Thought of visiting this place many times but being in Thalassery always preferred to have homely food. The place is pretty decent with good seating facility and nice place to dine with the family. Food: We ordered Noodles (kids🤐) Irani Chicken Kebab,9 Chicken Tikka, Kalmakkai Tawa, Alfaham Mandi, Dragon Chicken, and Bread. Review: Noodles is good, Chicken Tikka & Irani was 😋 Kalmakkai Tawa superb (my Favorite) Mandi is fine (compared to the Mandi in Ernakulam) Dragon chicken was also tasty. They have many dishes on their menu which I'll need to taste later on. The ambiance is good and the staffs were friendly. The main issue of Thalassery is parking which is a big relief in Lafair as there is underground parking space. Sure to visit the place and try their other varieties in near future.

An Exquisite Culinary Journey ★★★★★

My recent dining experience at Lafair was truly exceptional, exceeding all expectations. From the moment we entered, we were embraced by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a remarkable evening.

The restaurant's ambiance strikes a perfect balance between comfort and sophistication. Soft lighting and tasteful decor create an intimate setting, ideal for special occasions or romantic dinners. Attention to detail in the interior design enhances the overall charm.

Now, let's dive into the highlight of the evening: the cuisine. The menu at Lafair is a true work of art. Each dish we savored was a masterpiece in both presentation and flavor. From appetizers to dessert, every bite was a delightful exploration of taste. Fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors were evident in every dish.

Kudos to the chef for their culinary creativity and skill in crafting such exquisite plates. The wine selection complemented the meal flawlessly, and the attentive staff was eager to offer recommendations and enhance our dining experience.

Speaking of the staff, their service was impeccable. Our server was well-versed in the menu, attentive to our needs, and provided excellent suggestions. They made us feel like cherished guests throughout the evening.

One more notable aspect was their willingness to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions, ensuring that our dining experience remained exceptional while addressing our specific needs.

The dessert was a sweet conclusion to our meal, not only a visual delight but a burst of flavors that left a lasting impression.

In summary, my dining experience at Lafair was unforgettable. It's a testament to culinary excellence and exceptional service. Whether for a special occasion or simply a desire for fine dining, Lafair is the ultimate destination. I eagerly anticipate returning to further explore their menu and relish their culinary...
