Having visited My Laban in Kakkanad, I was thoroughly impressed by the distinct and pleasing ambience, despite the small and cozy space. The locationis somewhat crouded on Infopark road, but still makes it an inviting stop for a quick, luxurious dessert fix. This is not a place for a long hangout, but its efficient layout and inviting atmosphere perfectly serve its purpose as a specialized dessert parlor. My experience was elevated by the fantastic Salankatia dessert. It is rich, creamy, and bursting with delicious flavour—a genuinely indulgent treat that lives up to the hype. The quality of their offerings is premium, showcasing authentic Egyptian flavors with a modern twist. I bought Salankatia from My Laban today, expecting the same quality as Sign Laban. I actually went there because it wasn’t crowded — unlike Sign Laban and Qasr Laban, which were quite busy.

However, this was my first time trying from My Laban, and I was a bit disappointed. Even though it’s priced higher than Sign Laban, the quality of the cake and cream felt much lower. That might also explain why there wasn’t much crowd there.

I really hope the quality improves or the price is adjusted accordingly. Personally, I’d prefer Sign Laban or Qasr Laban, as both offered better taste and quality when...
