Oberoi Beer & Wine — Restaurant in Kerala

It is a watering hole. But a very different type of watering hole. I just love this place. On the menu are dishes which are totally different from any beer place i have visited in Kerala. Poori bhaji chole bhaturey, paranthas in the morning, mutton kheema, brain, pork chilly fry, pork fried rice and pork biriyani, Daal makhani are some of them which I have never seen in this part of the country. Well made Kachumber as much as you want with the beer. The food, if the not the best, is above average. Low tables with comfortable round chairs which you sit low have good support. Even with full capacity this place is quiet and cool with excellent air-conditioning. All the alcohol available and the peanut packets are lined up behind the bar counter so that you are ready with your order when the waiters come. Definitely effective and less strain on the waiters. If you are worried about the price then the menu is right in front of you when the waiter comes. He does not need to open his mouth at all. As far as the waiters are concerned they are warm and efficient . The collection is adequate with all the good regular beers like Budweiser kingfisher tuborg and even pint of kf lager and many more. One strange thing I noticed about this place is that almost 40 to 50 percent of the people visiting are not from Kerala. I saw people from the north , north east , Tamil. Heard Hindi being spoken more and I even saw foreigners sitting. The second time I went I saw two families with ladies and youngsters. My dining experience at Oberoi on the evening of November 29, 2024, was the worst. and tell the management that I discovered an insect in my food, and I took a picture for my records. They denied it, and even the police had to be called. Instead of resolving my issue, I had to spend two hours there. I also registered the complaint on online pol app, but I haven't received a proper confirmation of this complaint.
