Rockers Cafe @ The International Hotel — Restaurant in Kerala

Nice place. Ambience is good. They did well with the decor and theme of it. Kind of reminds me a place in Bangalore that plays classic rock like pecoes. Their service time is good. However, the staff do their job well but they don't seem happy when you enter the place or place an order. Areas of improvement: Firstly, the food menu can be expanded. We ordered garlic chicken and fried rice. Food is tasty and good. But they should look at adding more variety in terms of starters. Secondly, the decor of the place screams classic and old world rock. But the music played is anything but that. I understand that this is entirely subjective. But at least look into having some rock music on the iPod. Coming to the iPod, the concept of a jukebox will do wonders to this place and if the establishment is smart they should consider marketing it that as it's USP. Making the iPod available for the guests that wish to play their own music would be a good touch. Thirdly, considering they play to a wide market, a different theme for every day would do well. When we went the place was anything but busy. So it was a good place to meet up and catch up and have good conversation. But, if the establishment wishes to increase footfall they should have a theme for every day of the week like classic Sunday or bollywood Friday or dhinchak Saturday etc. Just an idea. Fourthly, the service staff needs to be educated that when people enter the establishment, they should be happy to serve. At least, have a smile on the face. They did anything but make us feel welcome. It gave us the impression that because of us, they are forced to work and they had no inclination of doing anything more than what is required.

Overall, the place, food and service is good. The service aspect may be subjective as when we had gone the establishment was practically empty. However, the establishment has an immense amount of potential if the powers that be understand that and act...

First time I visited this place and I have to say I'm impressed. The staff are cordially and provided alot of complimentary foods, which tasted awesome. Personally recommend the Malai kabab and the squid rings! The pricing is also quite decent. Absolutely loved...

It has two bars which are not up to the mark for a gentle crowd. But may be good for the local people. However the Manager took us and given a special care. This may be needed for the persons coming from outside. The rating is given only on the service of...
