Swagath Holiday Resorts — Hotel in Kerala

Swagath Holiday Resort: Yet another disappointment. I had not liked this property while booking only and had asked for options to my Tour and Travellers. But i was told there are only 2 options; out of which this looked better. So i had no option left. Room was okay however the bathroom was so small, hardly any1 could bath in there. I realized later that we were given "Pawn" rooms. The executive should understand customers need and give all details on rooms. When i demanded room upgrade for 1st 2 days accommodation, executive should have understood my class. Had i been told that better rooms would increase charges; i would have gone for it.

Then comes breakfast, same story only fixed meal was provided. We requested to prepare Jain food in breakfast for my mom day before, but that was not done both days. Infact the Kitchen boy lied that everything is Jain; when it was not. I could clearly see onion in Sambhar. My mom didn't eat anything except for bread both days.

Now comes highlight of this stay; I had checked with kitchen boy day before for check-out that we need to have our breakfast parceled as we need to leave at 8 to take train at 9am. He said he have no packing stuff on which i said we have containers on which he said ok we will provide parcel then in aluminum foil and your containers. He also said breakfast will be ready at 7:45 am. I also requested to make Jain dishes for my mom and he said ok. When in the morning i went to dining area, he behaved very very rude. When i gave him containers, he said take on your own. So i packed idli, sambhar, chatni; when i asked where is Jain food; he said its all Jain. And I could clearly see onion lying on sambhar and chole, when I asked he was uninterested to answer anything. I then packed some chole and was waiting for Bhature for which i asked him to give Aluminum foil; however he only gave it to me after asking 5-6 times repeatedly. Then I was waiting for Bhature; he said it will take time; i was waiting from 7:45 to 8:15 still bhatures were not bought and he was scolding on me that it will take time when i was checking with him and said now he started making them. I said this is not the time, as per the instructions in room, Breakfast will be ready at 7:30; he said - No, that is 1st dish, 2nd dish will be ready by 8.30. I asked where is it written? he had no response. He had quite high pitch while responding to me and it was clearly seen that he is purposely not bringing bhature's. His responses and behavior made me feel as i was taking too much food when i only took 15 idlis in my container. we were 6 people, so I took acc. When i mentioned about the count, he kept mum and went inside. Eventually at 8:20; he bought only 9 bhatures which i took and when asked for more he said it will take 10 more minutes; i had no option but leave. Never had such experience till date, sad to see such servicing. We pay for breakfast along with room charges; such behavior was not at all required

Also i could see all other guests just had idli and bread butter and left, i also saw people eating bread...

Accommodations: Our Room Was Spacious And well-appointed. The Bed was comfortable. The Villa was Also Beautyfull.

Facilities and Amenities: They Have impressive facilities. The pool area is Good And Clean. There Is A Book Shelf To Read Books. Carrom To Play With Family Or Friends.

Dining Experience: The breakfast buffet was Complete, with fresh and delicious options.

Cleanliness and Maintenance: The resort was impeccably clean, and maintenance was prompt.

The reviews seems fake as per my recent experience. my family and 3 other families booked this but within 30 mins we came to know this is a bogus property. You can't even say it's a hotel. They have limited room servent. My room has shower not working, AC not working but can't report as they don't provide landline in my room. The room has many lizards and mosquitos roaming everywhere. Somehow I got reception desk mobile number I asked for landline and pillows after 30 mins and 3 calls they provide pillow only. Small room they call it as restaurant smells too bad you can't even sit. Further Food quality is even worst so go outside for dinner. Overall...
