My K MALL Kakkattil Pizza Ricotta experience. I called them yesterday to ask for the rate of pizzas, and I was told they have a limited-time special offer for a large-size pizza (8 slices) for Rs.275 only. Anyone who had a proper pizza from Pizza Hut, Domino's, or Papa John's, or even local pizzerias, knows the large-size pizza for Rs.275 is a steal. I ordered for two. Then came the surprise. The billing lady handed me the first box. The moment I held the box, I knew something was wrong. I asked her why the box weighed as if there was nothing inside. She promised me everything is alright, and I will definitely come back for another pizza after having this. I took both boxes and opened them to see what was inside. The count was right. 8 slices were there. Only it was their version. A single slice that would not cost more than Rs.20 if sold separately in a bakery because the slice was so thin with hardly any meat or veg, we could hardly call them pizza slices in its true texture. Usually 2 or 3 slices is good enough for older people. Even after having all 6 slices, the impact it had on the stomach was as if it had a snack in the evening. Instead of charging something extra and delivering a proper-sized pizza, they compromised on quality and quantity so that anyone who had this special offer pizza never comes back for another slice. And the counter lady’s professionalism must be appreciated. Even after handing over a substandard product in terms of quantity, she had the confidence to tell me I will definitely come back. I would have come back for a refund, not for pizza.
They can definitely do these kinds of gimmicks with the disclaimer “offer only to those who have never had pizza in their life.” So they never know the difference or the rip-off by Pizza Ricotta.
The counter lady must be awarded staff of the decade, and I am sure she has zero idea what a real pizza even looks like, let alone how it tastes.
Had she advised me to get a proper large-size pizza instead of the rip-off special offer, which cost me more or less the same, I would have gone for the proper one. In case the pizza delivered to me as a large size with little to no toppings is the real one they deliver to the public with a price tag of Rs.590, then I have no words to express.

Let me just start by saying the first thing I noticed. The service, it was pathetic. With such a nice and catchy name I thought this would be one of those upscale pizza places. Only thing upscale here is their prices. Everything else about it is sub par.
They don't follow conventional pizza sizes. Their medium is actually small (regular) and large is medium size. We didn't order small (regular) and thank god for that. I imagine small would be the size of those dessert pizzas we get at Onesta or at bakeries.
They don't add all the ingredients listed in the menu either. What they add are minuscule pieces of topping. They did add cheese abundantly though. For a minute, I thought they got our order wrong and brought us margarita pizza instead of the supreme we ordered. I couldn't find anything but cheese on it. On closer inspection there were other toppings too but the quantity was comically lacking. The whole medium pizza probably had one square inch size paneer cube cut up into smaller pieces. Definitely not enough to give any sort of taste. There were no jalapenos and when we asked, the server said it was there but cut up into thin slices. We definitely couldn't see or taste it.
Staff would just ignore you even if they see you beckoning to them. They'll quickly break eye contact so as not to acknowledge and having to come to the table. Lol. It was funny. Finally we had to call out loud so he couldn't purposely ignore us.
I really wonder how this place is rated 3.9 stars. (it's February 2022 now) It's a 2 at best. 2.5 if they get the sizes right or adjust prices accordingly. They charge Dominos rates and give half the size and quarter the toppings.
I believe the people who rated this place high have written a biased/paid review. I saw someone say the taste and quality are comparable to big pizza places. Or maybe this place was good once upon a time. But it definitely isn't right now.
Never going here again. Owners take note if you want the place to be in business. With service like this, it's no wonder we don't get good eateries (read- fast food joints)...

The pizza at Pizza Ricotta was exceptional. I tried their signature ricotta pizza, and it was a standout. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with creamy ricotta cheese, fresh herbs, and a delicious blend of vegetables. The balance of flavors was spot-on, making each bite enjoyable and satisfying.
The service was attentive and friendly, with staff making sure our experience was pleasant. The casual, beachside vibe added to the charm of the meal, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.
