Title: Decent Food, But Subpar Experience
Rating: โญโญโญ
I recently dined at Puttum Kattanum restaurant and wanted to share my overall experience. While the food was good, there were a few areas that left much to be desired.
Let's start with the positives: the food at Puttum Kattanum was enjoyable. The flavors were well-balanced, and I appreciated the quality of the ingredients used. The dishes I ordered were tasty and satisfying, which is the primary reason for my three-star rating.
However, the ambiance of the restaurant was rather average. It lacked the charm or unique elements that could have elevated the dining experience. The decor seemed outdated and could benefit from some refreshing touches. It didn't detract significantly from the meal, but it didn't add any positive points either.
One major downside was the lack of parking availability. It was inconvenient to struggle with finding a parking spot nearby, which added unnecessary hassle to the visit. It would be helpful if the restaurant could address this issue to enhance the overall customer experience.
Unfortunately, my dining experience was dampened by an incident involving one of the staff members. While I was eating, an employee washed his hands and accidentally spilled water on the bowl I was using. Although I pointed out the mishap, the staff member left with a smile, which gave the impression that it was not taken seriously. This kind of behavior is disappointing and tarnishes the overall impression of the restaurant.
In conclusion, Puttum Kattanum restaurant offers good food, but the overall experience fell short. The average ambiance and lack of parking options were notable drawbacks. Additionally, the incident with the staff member was handled poorly, leaving me with a negative impression. I hope the restaurant takes these points into consideration and works towards improving the overall customer experience...

A Taste of Nostalgia Puttum Kattanum is a hidden gem that transported me back to a bygone era. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the warm ambiance and friendly staff. The decor, featuring old harmoniums and lanterns, added a touch of nostalgia to the experience.
Food that Impresses I ordered the Pepper Chicken Puttu Biryani Kattan, and it was love at first bite! The puttu was silky smooth, and the pepper chicken was flavorful and aromatic. The portion size was generous, and the prices were reasonable, ranging from โน1-200 per person.
Service that Shines The service at Puttum Kattanum deserves a special mention. The staff were attentive, courteous, and always ready to help. Despite the crowd, they managed to maintain a smile and a positive attitude, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Ambiance and Value The cozy atmosphere, coupled with the vintage decor, made Puttum Kattanum a perfect spot for a relaxed evening out. Limited parking space might be a challenge, but it's worth the effort.

Pro 1:They offer some special dishes at reasonable price. Even Basic porotta and Chicken/Beef are best quality for that price. (โน114)
Con 2: The other downside is many dishes like Puttu Biriyani are pretty straight forward. Just Puttu mixed well with Chicken/beef of your choice. Which is enjoyable in that ambience with a special tea. But feel like they could have improvised better with the specials.
Pro 2: The "Kattan" side of things are great. Lot of options and most are different taste from one another and from any other place.
Overall a traditional "Chayakada" vibes to hang with your friends, enjoy good Puttu and Kattan.
Note: They don't provide a bill just like Chayakada. Make sure to ask if you want a bill. It's not a gst bill as well so cannot claim if you have any vocher offers from company.( As most WFH companies offers...
