A Culinary Journey at Hotel Brothers: A Timeless Treasure Hotel Brothers in Alappuzha is more than just a restaurant; it's an institution. Having stood the test of time since 1973, this beloved eatery continues to enchant patrons with its delectable cuisine and warm hospitality. The moment you step into Hotel Brothers, you're transported to a world of culinary delights. The aroma of freshly cooked food fills the air, tantalizing your senses. The restaurant's popularity is evident in its bustling ambiance and the frequent visits of Malayalam movie stars, who are clearly drawn to its authentic flavors. During our recent visit, we indulged in the iconic Appam with Egg Roast and the flavorful Masala Dosa. Each dish was a masterpiece, prepared with utmost care and served with love. The soft, fluffy appams paired perfectly with the rich, spicy egg roast. The masala dosa, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, was a delightful treat. What truly sets Hotel Brothers apart is its commitment to quality and affordability. The prices are incredibly reasonable, making it a pocket-friendly option for everyone. Read moreGood place to enjoy a good meal . More focused on the native 'nadan' cusines. The place offers wide varity of food from the least spicy to the extreme ones and also note that you inform them about the spice level that you need. You have ample parking within the compound. I believe the place can handle atleast 20 cars. Located on the road side , its easy to access but some times might miss the entry cause they beautifully camouflaged with the surrounding. On entring the security personal will assist you with the parking. Once parked and you make your way to the hotel and on entering you get the old traditional feel. The tastes of the traditional cuisine is also maintained. The staff will come to your seats and get your order. All the staffs are good and service is good. Please note if you are to visit in peak hours you call upfront and see if seats are avilible . We are not sure if they take in reservation or orders upfront but please do try to call. If you go there and if you eat allmost all non veg then do try their duck roast and 'varutharachath' ( a thick curry with roasted and grinded paste gravy). Their meals with special curry is also awesome. Do try their biriyani and let us all know how you felt , couldnt try it out. May be next time will...
Read moreHad seen a reel about this place and yesterday on the way back from Alappuzha Beach, dropped in for a small meal. My first visit. Ordered Porotta and Beef Roast. The porotta was fresh, hot and with just the right amount of crisp on the top layer and soft on the insides. The Beef Roast with Thaenga Kothu was super yummy. I asked for a strong tea. And it did turn up that way. Strong and hot. The proper malayali kaduppam kudiya chaaya. And the malayalam songs of yesteryears and instrumental music played on the tv added to the vibe of this place where interiors are adorned with photos of celebs, more from the cinema industry. Seemed to be a place frequented by the famous. But the owner at the desk still acknowledged me [a common man] with a smile on my way out. That's customer delight added to customer service. And more delight awaited in the snack and essentials shop which is nicely stocked up. Picked up a Batook Cardamom for myself.
A good place to stop with family or solo for food and snacks while traversing the town. Maybe someday I would like to stay here too and explore more the food the vibes and hear the story too of the beginnings and the journey of...
