I seriously fail to understand how this restaurant has been rated so highly by patrons in Trivandrum. The only positive is it's fair ambience which would probably score a 7/10. The food was by far the worst we ever had in Trivandrum! The chef should seriously consider taking a few culinary revision lessons in maintaining or rather attaining a 'balance of taste'. We ordered an appetizer of Minestrone soup to be followed by a mains of Mexico city Pizza paired with a side of peri-peri potato wedges and a Chicken Fajita tortilla wrap sandwich. The minestrone soup was a very sour decoction which the chef obviously concocted from a mix of canned tomato puree and frozen veggies. I can understand if this was dished out by an average roadside eatery. The chef went to the extreme end of the spectrum with respect to sourness. No amount of addition of any accompaniment could salvage any delectable sense of taste from the dish. The soup was served with a sliver of cold garlic bread that tasted more like bland foccacia. A disaster it was, and a serious insult to our taste buds. Next, came the pizza... It was the blandest we'd ever had in all our lives. We've had pizzas from diffetent countries, but this had to take the crown of being the worst ever! There was absolutely no salt in the dough at all. The topping of vegetables was just a mix of frozen veggies mixed with a smattering of green bell peppers. To call this pizza 'horrendous' would be a gross understatement. The saving grace was the stringy consistency of the cheese and the copius quantities of chilli flakes that we had to sprinkle over the pizza in order to get some palatable taste. Literally, it felt like chomping on peices of soggy but hard cardboard that had been decked with stringy cheese and frozen veggies. A total disaster again! The Fajita sandwich wrap was not bad in itself, but nothing to rave about. The sides was again a small serving of frozen veggies along with a tomato n herb purée. We left one slice of pizza on purpose, for the chef to sample his own ware if he'd cared. I did take up our overall food review to be conveyed to the chef through the very well mannered manager who seemed very apologetic. Understandably so, as the food served was beyond his domain of expertise. The mocha coffee was really good and so was the vanilla cappuccino. Bottom line is, there are very many better places to spend your evening with good food and ambience. The price is really high given the poor quality of food. I am really surprised that people in Trivandrum have rated this restaurant so highly. It maybe that the chef was having a bad day. But, over the past few days, we had been to several restaurants like Longtime, Paragon and Olive and they provide good, tasty food though a tad expensive but value for money. I would not recommend this place if you truly are a connoisseur of good taste. I sincerely hope that the management will take my comments constructively to improve upon their quality by using fresher ingredients (instead of frozen and canned ones!) and striving hard to attain that delectable balance of tastes that make food an enjoyable experience for the discerning customer.

I’ve dropped in on the restaurant more than a few times and I’m in love with their food. Recently I paid a visit and ordered their CHICKEN CANELLONI, one of my usuals and it was predictably rocking. Supreme Upper Crust has been one of the leading fine-dining restaurants in the city. Watch out for their prices as they are on the higher end. The steaks or main course dishes rane from Rs 400 to above 1000. But worth the price, the diner bequeaths the archetypal European café impression. With upto 40 seating, the restaurant is tagged as CAFÉ & ARTISAN PATISSERIE. They’ve got variants of bread for sale such as the Rye bread and multigrain bread. They’ve got pleanty of dessert cakes up for grabs especially their variants of ganache, praline and cheesecakes. The praline cakes come in a thin slice of celadon and peach colours. They even have a never-before-heard-of Strawberry pista slice of cake. Ive had a taste of their platters and steaks too, and everything is presented with magnificent flamboyance. Their Chicken Parmigiana and seafood termidore requires special mention. But beware, the continental taste is not something that suits every Indian’s palate. But, however, its great to have a notable fine-dining restaurant in Trivandrum.

Update 15/01/2023. A place where you spent more time waiting for your order to arrive than eating it. Have been here quite a few times since I reviewed it last. It continues to be a great place for food and I think they keep adding new items in the menu. The service is good, however I think the waiters could smile. Most of them keep a grim face which could be worked upon. The other thing is if your are hungry, you shouldn't come here. The serving takes place after at least 15 to 30 minutes of the order. The last time we went, it took almost 30 minutes for the order to come. Their reasoning is it is prepared fresh; after my visit to Pondicherry, I'm convinced great food can be served within a short time. So here it is, the rating is still 4 because it does have the upscale fine dining feel and the food is good. Update ends. Perfect place for continental fine dining. They have a very small limited menu, so you know they are really completely into what they are doing. The desserts are in a different league altogether. It's a must try. The seating capacity is limited, so you may have to do a reservation.

The atmosphere is cozy and calm. Food is just right, very balanced, palatable and not polarizing at all. Portion sizes are fairly generous. For chicken dishes, esp for the grills and platters, I feel like boneless meat pieces would be easier to eat for the customer with forks and knives (esp since in india where many people aren't used to eating with cutlery). Love their peach iced tea. It is not a life changing drink, but it has just the right amount of sweetness and coldness to refresh you. I always love having it after walking around under the sun during afternoons. Soothes my headache due to the sun and even sort of opens up my tired brain. The staff is very attentive and courteous. In particular there's this one particular server who is just all grace and loveliness. He is very proper, has good attention to detail, is attentive and sincere. Once when I came here, I couldn't figure out how to open the water bottle kept at my table. I was fiddling with it, but then, in an instant this man comes with such grace and helps me open the water bottle (he wasn't even the one attending my table then, and the restaurant was starting to get busy as well, yet he was very prompt, thoughtful and attentive). This is a small thing, but even in this small gesture I could feel a sincere justice towards his craft. This was just one incident. In every interaction with this waiter from then on, i could feel the thoughtfulness and attentiveness. Should've asked his name because I was just so touched by his immaculate manners! I would love to know his name. This server is young and has a shaved head I think from what I could make out from under his cap. You guys at supreme, please give this man a raise, I was so pleased by him! Everytime I walk into your establishment, if i see this particular server there, it makes me feel at ease even if he is not the one...

So I shall start with basics. Amazing ambience amazing display counters. A little congested but cosy sitting. Now the experience A classy menu which curtails a lot of real Italian and french dishes rarely available. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara with ham which was perfect but difficult to eat. Please provide a pasta plate not a bowl!

Secondly when you serve Italian there has to be a couple of seasonings readily available on the table like a small vial of olive oil or even some chili flakes this wont cost much i asure you. Which they did provide when asked for.

The most hurting part of this restaurant lies at the billing counter. People standing and chatting loudly the billing guy the guy wearing the chefs hat. There was chattering and laughing that was coming from the employees alone. Even the 2 waiters behind me were chatting constantly. I don't mind that! But it's fine dinning for crying out loud. I am paying 290 for a plate of spaghetti! !! I can expect some privacy with my wife.

Lastly please get your cleaning done in slack time intervals. There was a woman mopping the floor constantly while I was there.

The criticism here is because you are suggested by people as an elite restaurant. And you can do much better. Excellent cusine and amazing ambience is your strength, please have a team huddle and tell them to keep the kitchen door closed we don't want to hear plates and employees while...
