We visited the Dada Boudi hotel during our recent trip to Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. We were Bengalis starved for our staple aloo posto and fish curry away from home. However this place satisfies our craving for homely Bengali food and we were extremely satisfied with our meal. We had ordered veg thali and fish thali that has plain rice, dal, two different types of seasonal vegetables, chutney, papad and fish extra with the fish thali. We also ordered extra aloo posto and aloo Bhaja. Everything was of excellent quality and tasted absolutely homely. We had also ordered some Chinese fried rice and chicken curry that tasted equally nice. However, the preparation time for the food took long. I think it is a home business run by a family and not professionally run thus it took long time as everything was freshly prepared. The place also lacked clean and nice washroom. Apart from these it was wonderful to have lunch here.
