Extremely Disappointing Experience at Barbeque Nation, Acropolis Mall

I visited Barbeque Nation at Acropolis Mall to celebrate a special birthday with family and friends, expecting a memorable evening. Instead, what should have been a joyous celebration turned into an embarrassing ordeal that I'll remember for all the wrong reasons.

The evening was completely ruined by the staff's unprofessional behavior. Throughout our meal, servers repeatedly approached our table, pressuring us to finish quickly because of an apparent 1.5-hour dining limit. This restriction was never mentioned during booking, confirmation, or upon arrival – a serious lack of transparency that left us feeling misled and unwelcome.

The situation escalated when the manager intervened with shocking rudeness and crass behavior entirely unbefitting someone in his position. Being humiliated in front of my guests – people I had invited to celebrate a special occasion – was deeply embarrassing and hurtful. The manager's approach lacked basic courtesy and professionalism, turning what should have been a pleasant dining experience into an uncomfortable confrontation.

While the restaurant later offered freebies and discounts as compensation, the damage was already done. No amount of after-the-fact gestures can undo the embarrassment and disappointment of having a celebration ruined by poor service and management.

For a restaurant chain that markets itself as a destination for celebrations and gatherings, Barbeque Nation Acropolis Mall failed spectacularly in providing even basic hospitality. I cannot recommend this location to anyone planning a special occasion or expecting respectful service.

First and foremost is the SERVICE, IT'S ABSOLUTELY WORTH ALL THE PRAISES. Our Service provider Samir was Absolutely the best!! Loved the way the staffs made sure all the guests are happy and satisfied with their food, they were ever energetic to serve every single thing on the platter(the Starter kebab) . So happy with the extraordinary arrangement of BBQ nation... Welcome drink- Freshlime soda/thumps up/Pepsi/sprite (one drink complimentary, if you order more that's chargeable.) Mocktails I had:- Italian smooch Citrus punch Bombay collins. Loved Italian smooch and Bombay colins.
