Last week I visited this wonderful place which is located just opposite to Acropolis mall. It has separate bar, dining and fine dining section. This place serves a wide variety of food and it's really spacious considering 3 separate sections side by side. It's a absolutely amazing place to visit during the Durga Puja for some gatherings, reunions, and hangouts. The staff members are really humble. Now coming to the food we tried:-
🔹Mumtaz Tangdi Kebab- One of the best and delicious food item of this place. It's basically chicken drumsticks stuffed with mutton keema and cheese. The drumsticks were tender and juicy. It was so delicious with the perfect smokey flavour outside and soft cheesy centre, an incredible and creative dish to start your meal with.
🔹Afghani Murgh- Nothing can beat the juiciness and tenderness of kebabs. And this place has tried to keep that up with its kebabs. Taste and texture was top knotch.
🔹Fish Drumstick- An unique dish to break through our regular starters. The fish was literally melting inside my mouth. Perfect in taste and texture.
🔹Broccoli malai kebab- Perfectly cooked with that little bit of crunch to enhance the richness of this dish.
🔹Crispy fried Chicken- Soft and tender chicken coated with crunchy crumb coat went really well with the mayo dip.
🔹Mutton Keema Matar Masala- A bit on the spicy side and went really well with the Butter Naan. There was no excess oil which impressed me.
🔹Malai Kofta- One of the best that I have had in a long time. The koftas were super soft and were not fried but cooked with the creamy gravy. It was a bit sweeter but tasted wonderful.
🔹Chicken Bharta- The gravy was thick and creamy with bits of chicken chunks went really well with the bread served. 🔹Chicken Wonton- It was yummy and crispy but I felt the filling was a bit less. Otherwise it was perfect.
🔹Mix Hakka noodles- Tasted like regular Hakka Noodles. But it had boneless mutton chunks which made it s bit different.
🔹Chicken in Chilli Wine Sauce- Medium spicy in taste with soft and juicy chicken pieces and went really well with the noodles.
🔹American salt and pepper- Mushroom Salt and Pepper tasted absolutely delicious with the aroma and flavour of black pepper and the crunch of the veggies made it a perfect dish.
🔹Chicken Biryani- The Biriyani was yummy and this dish does not require any definition or introduction. Biriyani is true love.
🔹Darsan with Ice-cream- Classic dessert to complete a meal.
🔹Tutti Fruity- One of my favourite desserts. This was really yummy and soul satiating kinda dessert. Not to forget the chunks of fresh fruits.
🔹 Monte Carlo- Topped which chocolate syrup and choco chips over a bed of vanilla ice cream and brownies.
Then there were some mocktails and cocktails like Our Pride, Blue Bay, A vodka based drink and a brandy based drink.
Overall I loved the place, each and every dish was beautifully presented, and highly recommend everyone to visit this...

A flurry of dishes, all of them top notch, Cheeni Kum began their prowess with Tequila Sunrise, Gin Fizz, Chocolate Milkshake and Virgin Isle. The sheer quantity of each of these drinks was more than enough to quench your thirst and start off for what was coming.
For starters, we were given a regalia of items which included the vegetarian kebab platter, which had mushrooms, potatoes, baby corn, and paneer, and then moved onto cheeseballs which just melted subtly into our mouth when bit. The non vegetarian options came with Fish Kolaveri, Mumtaz Tangri Kebab which had malai marination, stuffed with keema on the inside, and slow roasted over a tandoor to perfection. The list went on to include Chicken Seekh Kebabs, which was soft, well cooked and juicy.
The royal rumble of main courses started off with Amritsari Kulcha, which had pairing options of Keema Kofta Curry or English Subzi Desi Masala. Keema Kofta Curry came with an entire egg begging to be rescued from keema. The English Subzi Desi Masala came was something really unique, it combined the vegetables of foreign origins with the spices native to India to manifest into a dish which left me spellbound.
Just as I was about to think that the main courses are over, chef decided that he would show his prowess for oriental food, as he sent over Egg Hakka Noodles and Hunan Chicken. The noodles were well made, and when I say well made, I mean it could be eaten without any sides. Human chicken was slightly spicy, but the sweetness counterbalanced the palate.
The Chicken biryani was the must try of the lot, with it following the "dum" biryani style, coupled with light basmati rice, egg and a juicy, tender chicken leg piece to seal the deal. It was on the lighter side with low oil and a rustic taste to remember for ages.
Lastly, the sweetness in Cheeni Kum to too damn high for a name like that, as they served desserts, and boy oh boy, it was a sugar high! Starting off was Darsan with Ice Cream topped off with Chocolate Syrup, followed by Tutti Fruity, with layers of ice cream, dried nuts and fruits and finishing off with Monte Carlo, with vanilla ice cream on chocolate cakes and finished off with chocolate chips.
Do give this place a visit, it is surreal and the food is...
