The reasons I'm rating this the lowest Took my mother and younger brother here ...they had come all the way from kalimpong and it was there first day here for lunch took to a authentic Bengali restaurant thinking bhojohori manna to be the best. The staff firstly didn't even acknowledge our presence and we're completely negligent and we felt ignored ...there faces looked weird and it wasn't welcoming at all....i had to ask for the seat myself even though it was empty and It felt awkward overall Almost half of the items from the menu were not available itself. The staff rather then first serving us sat and ate their lunch. The dark colored fish curry had no fish in it having paid 430 for bones and no meat did hurt us.
It was a extremely bad experience would refer no one to visit this place...or any of their outlet had a similar staff experience with their outlet in diamond plaza and they never had...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible restaurant who do not care about their customers at all. I made the grave mistake of ordering from them via Swiggy on 17/09/2022. They accepted the order (means they have the stock to fulfill my order) & then sent incorrect, cheaper items. Instead of mochar chop, they sent cheaper variety of chops.
Not only that, their quantity of Polao is very very less (much lesser than even lesser known restaurants). And their quantity of 'Mocha Chingri' deserves special mention - It's not even 2 spoons (literally, really) & they charge almost 200 for it. I think this is the worst quantity of any food I have seen.
I ordered for my parents seeing their brand name but this brand & shop has declined to deplorable levels. Everything about them is shockingly below average, frustratingly disappointing. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM...
Read moreA very small and cosy place to have tasty Bengali food. Bhojohori Manna is one of Kolkata's best Bengali cuisine selling restaurants. The food tasted great here. Ordered Bengali basanti polao, dim rosha and chicken kosha here for lunch. As we were late for lunch, we didn't find any crowd or any wait here. Our food was served fast enough but we had to do the servings ourselves. The polao though we did order a full plate was only enough for one person only. This was very shocking as other restaurants serve atleast for a grown up and a kids appetite. The quantity was less though the quality and the taste was very good. Egg rosha was a bit runny as the juice was watery. Chicken kosha was served with one drum piece and one body solid piece. The juice was onion based and was very...
