Flurys — Restaurant in Kolkata

Food quality drives this review. While Flurys used to be the only place to get a decent and authentic non-veg club sandwich in Kolkata, this branch gives very little chicken and it so swimming in mayonnaise that one can hardly taste the chicken. Ordered fish fingers, too and got freezer-burn taste of fish that had been in the freezer for long. The same is true of their chicken sandwich - it could easily be called a Mayo sandwich with some bits of chicken added. The English Chicken Mayo sandwich at Coffee n Mood has way more chicken than Flurys club and chicken sandwich. Finally, the Darjeeling Tea contained twigs. Darjeeling leaf tea is supposed to contain two leaves and a bud. Even if it is broken leaf standard it should not contain twigs. This is either the fault of their supplier trying to increase the weight of the tea sold to the company or the Flurys itself. Regardless, it is the responsibility of Flurys to do quality control on their tea. You get the worst possible smell when you enter. Staff is sitting in one corner and least bothered. Not just the options, but the food itself is just, BAD. You'd rather step out and have something from the street. I ordered a coffee and I was given the worst cappuccino I could've ever dreamt of. You get better cappuccino 33000 feet up in the air. The milk was not frothed and on asking, the staff tells me, "This is what we serve. Our machines frother doesn't work."

Absolute waste of money.

At 11.30 in the morning this store does not have basic food like patties. They could not provide ketchup with another savoury item. Even coffee was not available in the coffee shop as there's no milk. Last time the pastry was stale.It is absolutely a disastrous experience..if u cannot manage so many stores in Kolkata you may shut down.A brand like Flurys is giving a road...
