Denzong Restaurant, nestled in the heart of Bhawanipur, is a hidden gem for food lovers seeking authentic flavors at pocket-friendly prices. Known especially for its mouthwatering momos, this place delivers both quality and taste that stand out from the usual offerings. The momos are packed with flavorful, juicy fillings wrapped in a perfectly steamed, soft shell — a true delight for momo enthusiasts. Whether you choose the classic steamed ones or the crispy fried variety, each bite bursts with freshness and the right balance of spices.
Apart from momos, the restaurant offers a range of Tibetan and Chinese dishes that are equally impressive. Their thukpa and fried rice are noteworthy, reflecting the same commitment to taste and quality.
The pricing is another highlight. With meals comfortably fitting within a ₹300 budget, it’s hard to find such value elsewhere in Bhawanipur. Given the rising costs of eating out, Denzong stands out for maintaining affordability without compromising on portion size or flavor — a rare combination.
While the space is relatively small, the cozy setup gives a homely, no-frills vibe that feels welcoming. It may not be spacious or fancy, but the food quality more than makes up for it. For students, office-goers, or anyone looking for a quick, satisfying bite without burning a hole in their pocket, Denzong is the place to be. Overall, Denzong Restaurant proves that good food doesn’t need lavish settings or high prices to shine. It’s a must-visit spot in Bhawanipur for anyone craving delicious momos and more — all without stretching...
Read moreHad a pathetic experience in this place yesterday. ❌❌ They were preparing some bulk orders when we entered, then they took our order. For almost 25 minutes there was no update, after repeated mentioning they brought the jhol momo after almost 30 minutes, but it was awful in taste.🥴🥴❌❌ They put a huge amount of Cornflour just to thicken the gravy, tasteless it was. We had to return it as it was Inedible, I usually do not return food cause the chef has to make an effort to make those, but in this case I couldn't eat the jhol momo, it was raw and tasteless. They returned without any apologies or any words like they knew it was their mistake. 😤😤 Then after some pushing they gave Gaithung we ordered was just below average, full of cornflower,so thick gravy ❌🥴 Then just to have something good we ordered a steam chicken momo, sadly the momo was also so bad in taste. I can understand if they are having a huge order, but they could have told us that it will take longer than usual to serve us. 🙏🙏🙏 There was no water, no AC. May be they were packing so switched off all of them I guess. ❌❌ had a horrible experience in Denzong yesterday. Please try to value the time of other people. You aren't giving away your food free of cost, we are paying for that. But, if you can't provide the service it is not at all excusable. And please stop putting this amount of cornflower 🙏🙏🥴🥴 ❌❌❌Definitely never going to visit this restaurant ever❌❌❌ P.S. it might look delicious, but it wasn't....
Read moreI have tried the food of Denzong Kitchen earlier by ordering through food delivery apps and my expectations were really high but after visiting the place I was so dissatisfied with the ambience and the service that I lost all interest in their food. Firstly they need to refurbish the dining area and change staffs. The dining area is on the mezzanine floor and there's water dripping through the false ceiling, the wash basin tap was not working properly, the tables were dirty and the counter looked clumsy. The place has only 2 persons to look after the guests / diners. We ordered jhol momo, one plate of egg chicken fried rice and chilli fish. Now after a few minutes one of the guys came rushing to ask whether we have had order rice or noodles. After getting the confirmation he rushed back to the kitchen shouting that we ordered rice, great, now when we recieved the plate on the table not a bit of egg was found in the rice only a few chunks of chicken was there on complaining both of them stood steady with astound faces and we were told they would redo the dish but we denied as we were really hungry. This poor quality of service and personnel must be changed. The quality and quantity of food served were really good. The jhol momo was a real surprise for us as we had never tried momos in a bowl of soup earlier and it tasted damn good. The fried rice also tasted good with chunks of fried chicken and veggies. The chilli fish was good and the fish was fresh,...
