Golden Bowl — Restaurant in Kolkata

Visiting this oldest and popular Chinese Restaurant was on my wish list for a long time, Finally visited here few days back with my friends and absolutely loved everything about this place. Located at Nasiruddin Road, near Park Circus Tram Depot this place serves authentic Chinese cuisine at a reasonable price. The ambience of this place is nice with dim lights and they have a huge seating capacity. Coming to the food we had.

They have launched variety of cool and delectable juices, shakes & mocktails. From this section we tried Blush Pink Shake, Triple Chocolate Shake, Pineapple Panther and Orange Mohito. The mocktails were very refreshing and the shakes were blended perfectly with smooth texture and the shakes were simply delightful.

For starters we had Manchow Soup, Pan Fried Fish and Crunchy Chicken. The thick and warm ChickenManchow Soup topped with some fried Noodles was the perfect appetizer. The Crunchy Chicken was super Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, tasted really good with the hot sauce.

For Maincourse we ordered Special Fried Rice, Burnt Garlic Noodles, Thai Chicken and Chicken Manchurian. Both the Noodles and Fried Rice were delicious and loaded with scrambled eggs and Chicken. The crisp fried Minced Chicken balls tossed in Manchurian Sauce tasted really delicious with their special fried rice.

We ended this lovely meal with some Tutti Fruity Ice cream and Brownie with Vanilla Ice cream. The Brownie with Vanilla Ice cream is highly recommended, if you ever visit this place don't forget to try this one.

Goldne Bowl is years old restaurant located near Park Circus Seven Point crossing,serves mainly Chinese food. The ambience here is perfect for family dine in. Food tried here- Manchow soup, Pan fried fish, Crunchy Chicken, Burnt garlic noodles, Chicken manchurian, Thai chicken, Special Fried Rice. Drinks tried here- Chocolate Shake and Strawberry Shake.

A very good news for mocktails lovers is that this week they launched a variety of mocktails at a very pocket friendly price.

Another thing to mention is their portions of food,that can be easily shared by 2 people minimum.

Among soups,manchow soup is always my favourite and here they served hot spicy soup with lots veggies and topped with deep fried noodles,that's very much appetizing.

For Pan fried fish,the gravy was delicious.

Crunchy chicken with dip sauce will definitely make you more hungry.

Burnt garlic noodles- noodles in any form is always love,specially when cooked with egg,veggies and all.

Thai chicken and chicken manchurian as side dish can go with every other rice or bread dish. Also in each portion of chicken manchurian and thai chicken, they serve total 10 pieces in each.

Special fried rice here is served in a fancy manner that we all like, topped with a poached egg and spring onions. Not only it was served in a photogenic way,taste and quality were also absolutely perfect.

For the shakes,they were heavenly; specially the strawberry one as scoops of vanilla ice cream on the top of the shake was making it more thirst quenching.

So overall, for not only their quality food and good portions at a very good price, you should try this place but also their always changing menu and trying to add something new and interesting dishes in the menu,this place is...

If you are looking for a hidden gem in the city with authentic fine dining, Golden bowl is your place! Golden Bowl is one of the oldest authentic Chinese restaurant that has expanded itself to and introduced new soft drinks like spicy mojito chai coffee and along with some scintillating sizzling hot authentic Chinese dishes.

So we visited this place recently and had a number of these yummy soft drinks and some unusual main courses.

Here are the dishes we had we started with Icy Blue Kolkata, Lemon cucumber and mint smoothie followed by Chili Mojito- which is easily one of the best mojitos I have had in recent times.

with main course we had and recommend you to try these dishes : Chicken Yemeni Mandarian Chicken Chicken noodles Chicken Meifoon These are some very authentic and uncommon dishes and I absolutely loved the taste. It's very different from what we normally order. But I would recommend you to take the risk and order these dishes which are exclusive dishes of Golden bowl. We concluded our luncheon with Sunset Mojito, Frappe And hot Mocha

Dessert is amazing here: if you have a sweet tooth I would recommend you to try Hot Gulab Jamun with ice cream which is a pretty uncommon dish among its peers. I can't conclude my lunch or dinner without hot Brownie with ice cream!
