Kolkata Metropolitan Library — Attraction in Kolkata

There are approximately 5 students who are preparing for the UPSC. I respect those who prepare for the UPSC. However, the ones who have been studying there for a while engage in ragging the newcomers. They do not allow the new students to sit where they want. Instead of having serious discussions, they make jokes, which disrupts the library environment. There was an argument between those students and a UPSC aspirant. The older students told him that if he had a problem with their talking, he should leave the library. During the argument, they even threatened to have him expelled from the library. I believe that a UPSC aspirant does not have such a mindset. This is clearly wrong. The Kolkata Metropolitan Library is not anyone's personal property that they can treat it as their own estate. The District Library of Kolkata, called Kolkata Metropolitan Library. A well decorated four floored Library with a Newspaper Section, Text Book Section, Reading Section, Reference Section, Hindi Section, Literature Section, Book Lending Section, Women Education Sections Subject related Section, etc. The total library is Open Access. Books are arranging here according to the DDC subject division wise. All Books have been catalogued with KOHA ILMS. Library has a rich collection on text books, reference books as well as fiction, non fiction related books. Books can be issued with a Library lending card.
