A superb initiative. It is bound to make you smile somehow or the other.
Situated near the Maddox Square, in fact, right next to it in the Valmikee Street, it's a whole building dedicated to the special children. The cafe is on the ground floor and covers the entire area. The passage to the cafe is very colorful, filled with graffitis and artwork. Then there are tonnes of fun activities strewn across the place. Basketball, Foosball, bicycles, darts, mini air hockey line up the space to the entrance. The walls have been covered with vertical plants and enhance the greenery of the place. Once inside, you can see a plethora of vibrant colors everywhere.
There are bookshelves, board games, colorful chairs and tables, a playhouse and a ball pool for kids, a shelf displaying items on sale, sticky notes proving testimonials of erstwhile patrons hung on a string, magnifique posters and exceptionally cute interiors. The word "fun" is written all over the place. They have a karaoke too.
Most impressive is the wait staff here. They are specially-abled children who are extremely cute and courteous. The way she said "Welcome sir, how many persons?" and "This way sir", can melt your heart then and there. The order needs to be placed at the counter, but the food will be served by them at your tables. There are loads of books and board games to keep you company.
Enough babbling about atmosphere and the coziness, now coming to the food. The menu was unexpectedly covering all the dishes that you can find in a cafe. They have maggi, nachos, pasta, pizzas, burgers, shakes, desserts and other small finger food. We had the Pasta Alfredo. It was served in a cute white pasta plate. The pasta was well prepared and sauce was very creamy and cheesy.
Next up was the Wai Wai Bhel, the lovely Wai Wai (I prefer Wai Wai Noodles over Maggi Noodles) tossed in salt, pepper, onion oil amongst diced cut veggies. It has been and will always be one of the favorite munchies one can have. Again, the bowl in which it was served was pretty slick.
Then came another munchy, The Nachos. We opted for the BBQ Dip to go along. There were several dips to choose from. The nachos were good, crispy though.
For the finale, we had the Ferrero Rocher Frappe. The concoction was thick and chocolatey and topped with a Rocher ball and a wafer stick.
The ambiance is absolutely superb, just like it should be in a cafe. To top it off, the service is very good, given the fact that it is being done by special children. The food is good too. What more can you probably expect from a cafe?
On a side note, please be patient with...

Quality of food is good. Seems like a hygeinic place. The only thing i didn't approve of is the fact that they do not allow even baby food from home. Considering that iv probably been to almost all significant cafes, restaurants & hotels, and my child eats only home food, this took me by surprise. I can safely say that this is the only place that doesn't allow children's home food. I hope the management pays heed to this and makes necessary changes. Apart from this, its a very good...
