CITI STYLE — Local services in Kolkata

I had a very disappointing experience with City Style Gariahat. While they offer good discounts, the compromise on quality is extreme. I purchased 4 shirts from here, and all of them turned out to be of very poor quality.

The fabric feels cheap and wears out quickly. Buttons are not stitched properly — a few even came off right after purchase. After just one wash, the shirts look like they are already a year old. Shockingly, one shirt even tore from the middle, something that usually happens only with very old fabrics.

To make matters worse, just because I had washed them, there was no option for exchange. I had already read reviews that said they harass customers during exchanges, but I thought I’d give them a try. Unfortunately, those reviews turned out to be true.

Overall, I strongly advise never to buy from here. Add a little extra money and purchase something good from a reliable store — at least it will last long and won’t feel...

Very bad customer service. There is a sales boy named Goutam Das in City Style Kolkata Gariahat, who behaved very harshly with me while I was looking for a pant for my Father. He even dared me to complain about him to customer desk, but I didn't. He just created a bad scene in the store and then I left the shop without buying. I cannot write the whole thing here but I don't know from where his attitude came. Even if I had complained to Customer Desk, I don't think anybody would do anything because his attitude was, "go and complain about me", it was like he (Gautam Das) don't care about anything. I am just very surprised about how City Style is training there salesmen. I regularly shop in Pantaloons, Shoppers Stop and other big apparels center but never received such harsh behavior. For years one of the best store for middle class and poor people who have limited money but want to be fashion friendly.

N.B-But now many products (Clothes and Footwear) are available with much better quality and cheaper prices in Zudio* (A TATA store) at Gariahat Crossing- Disha Eye Hospital building.

I buy my caps from here for decades as they have nice collection near my locality in pocket friendly prices. A-Z home products and garments are here in very reasonable rates. All types of payment facilities available here. *13/July/2024- I purchased-

1. 2 Caps (Red-Rs:150 and Biscuit colour Rs:100), threaded letters... All embroidery work.
2. 6 pillow covers (large)-Rs:220 and
3. 1 dozen Clothes...
