Wisdom Tree — Restaurant in Kolkata

I was sleeping to one afternoon where I got a call from Samapika....My friend.She only suggested me to visit a simple coffee shop in Dover Road.She requested me twice...thrice..to visit as her friend Sonali Sarkar is the founder of that so called cafe... Wisdom Tree. The day I visited the place I got a Magnum Opus welcome from Sonali...She is more than a wonderful person.She had given me a wonderful welcome with my favoirte dishes.I end up that day singings songs and lots more.Again visited on my Bithday and lastly I manage to visit there with Samapika.Samapika is a pure and very pure vegitarian whereas I am a pure to pure Non veg.Sonali was very happy as we visited there...we chat ...we laughs on funny things and I sing for other Guests too.It was a lovely evening I spent with Samapika....specially Sonali.She is so much friendly I start adddressing her as "Tumi" but not"Apni " once again. Now when ever I feel like having a cup of coffee or vising a cafe,or when I wish to take my pals for sip to coffee and only to one and only unforgetable "Wisdom Tree".....Its my request to everyone and all, that if once you visit "Wisdom Tree" you more and more. Thanks to Sonali Sarkar....thanks to Wisdom Tree.Last but not the least I must thank ...

Wisdom Tree - The happiness cafe at 20 Dover Road, is a pleasant surprise for people who want to hangout at a place that provides great quality food at a moderate price in a cosy ambience.. As it has been opened very recently, most of the Kolkatans don't know about this place yet.. It is much cheaper than the popular hangout places in Kolkata like Wise owl, the Cafe Coffee Day chain, Tiger Cafe , What's up Cafe, Whistling Kettle, .... and the likes.. The USP is freshly cooked/baked food in ample quantity at an unbelievably low price.. None of the cafes in Kolkata give complimentary freshly baked cookies with tea or coffee.. Here at Wisdom Tree they give complimentary cookies with tea/coffee served in pots (not cups) and the quantity is about 4 cups in one go, and every order is customised to the client's satisfaction which provides a personal touch.. Each and every item is freshly made to perfection and preservatives free.. The ambience is very cosy and they offer you free Wi-Fi. Wisdom Tree is a great hangout place for people of all age groups.. The owner is an FTII, Pune alumni and this is her sole venture - a big leap from the Indian film industry to the business arena. Kudos to...

I had ordered a tea and a cold chocolate. The tea was below average, but generally fine. The cold chocolate was just plain bad. It tasted like cardboard. It has a very grainy texture, and just too much sugar. It was watered down and the froth from the ice cream just separated and floated on the top. It seemed like the ice cream was of sub par quality and was the source of the cardboard flavour. Also, they left about an inch or so of space in the class they served it in. They should have either filled it up or given a smaller glass. And it just barely qualified as cold. However, the place gives a really nice impression at first. It's quite cosy, good staff, well designed ambience for a cafe that you might want to be a regular at. But sadly, it's not good enough. And they do not have espresso on the menu. They use sugar...
