Kanhaiya Kachori Shop is a gem for street food lovers in Kolkata. Known for its freshly fried, crispy kachoris and authentic Bengali flavors, this place truly stands out. The kachoris are perfectly spiced, served with a delicious aloo sabzi that has just the right balance of tangy and savory flavors. What makes it even more special is the consistency—every bite is a burst of flavor that takes you on a journey through Kolkata’s rich culinary heritage. The shop's old-world charm adds to the overall experience, and the warm hospitality of the staff is a bonus. Whether you're a local or a tourist, Kanhaiya Kachori is a must-visit spot for breakfast or a quick snack. Be sure to arrive early because the place tends to get crowded, and their kachoris sell out fast! Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and affordable street food in Kolkata.

I went here believing that this place was the locals’ favourite for hot club kachoris and jalebis in the morning but I was pretty disappointed. First of all, the spices in the aloo sabzi were very very mild And it was a little bland as well. Then the kachoris were cooked from the top but were raw inside and the kachoris were way too doughy and fat. I didnt like the kachoris at all. The jalebi was again.. a bit fat from what their competitors sell but it was still decent. Prices are reasonable. Biggest problem was the shouting owner. The owner was standing outside the shop and was yelling on his staff loudly in front of all the customers which ruined the atmosphere of the place. Honestly, skip this place and have great club kachori at chhangani bhujia bhandar. Its much much better than this place.

The kachori menu itself is a massacre. And the oil used not good for sure, besan sattu mix make this thing heavy and horrible. The sabzi taste is also blunt salty. The hype been created by few people and it's the bread butter of local out-of-state origin dwellers, different cultures. If one is here to get Bengal food taste it's not the right place. But yes it's one of Kolkata's flavour. So obviously for various reasons there will be this menu lover. I personally can not compare kachuri torkari with this one coz that is heaven 😊. Kachodi , Jalebi are hyped here if one The behaviour is fine and cleanliness should be improved. Price is not so high.
