I visited this cafe with my friends and the only thing our group liked about this place was that it was pleasantly decorated. Ambience alone got it 2 stars.

The service and quality of food was not upto the mark. We went around 12:30pm to avail the food offers which are available from 12pm to 4pm. The Rs199 combos felt like a scam and NOT because the quantity was less, but because of the HORRIBLE taste ! The jerk chicken pizza tasted like plain "roti" with few chicken toppings. Again, a loss of appetite! The mocktail (virgin mojito) was not bad though. The staff was polite but I don't think they were paying enough attention to details because they messed up the sequence in which we asked them to serve our order. We clearly asked them to serve hookah after we finished eating, but they heedlessly placed it with the food on our table. So eventually the coal cooled down and went out even before we could completely enjoy it. What more, they have free games , but that turned out to be a bummer too because most of the games weren't maintained. Games like business and monopoly had cards and stuff missing. When we enquired they said that it was because of children who played and misplaced them , but that's no excuse for the cafe to not replace those games again. If only the food was tastier ,this place could have been a straight 4/5. It's more disappointing because they weren't even busy when we placed our order as we were the only customers around that time , yet the food they served failed to please our taste buds.

Nonetheless, we had our share of fun and you can have too, if your friends are as crazy as mine. Also, you can always get some cool pictures for your Instagram.

We visited "Kolkata 46" today (04/08/2024) for the lunch buffet at 14:30 pm . Though we booked 14:00 to 14:30 time slot prior, we had to wait 30 min . Then the have allocated a table which was actually for 2 person , but provided for us 4 members . The total area was so overcrowded, no ac was working properly , somehow we 4 members managed the space which is basically for 2 person table . Next we started the buffet , but unfortunately no dinner plates were available so took started in the quarter plate only which was again not cleaned properly. The foods are all very very avarage quality and served cold . Specially the chilli chicken and mutton grevy is the worst part as these were not well cooked . Extremely worst experience as we somehow just finished the buffet as complete suffocation kind of environment was created to the floor , completely unsatisfied with the food quality , services , prices etc . Complete mis management. Lastly we received the final bill where they charged Rs:399 for chicken buffet and Rs:599 for mutton buffet with Rs:90 service charges added , but when we booked it was clearly informed from Kolkata 46 that Rs:299 for chicken buffet and Rs:499 for mutton buffet for all seven days without mentioning any service charges kindly of thing . The manager Mr: Biplab Halder told that as the day is friendship day, they charge extra Rs:100 per buffet and service charges of Rs:90 as they provided the best in class service which is completely meaningless and unethical kind of thing . Keep a safe distance with this fraud company " Kolkata 46" or they will cheat you the most possible...
