Sher - e - Punjab — Restaurant in Kolkata

Food was amazing . We visited during festival thats why it was overcrowded and we had to wait for a while . But the wait was worth it .

We had Butter Naan , Mutton butter masala , chatni paneer Tikka Kebab, Paneer Patiala , Dal Makhani , Fish Malai Kebab .

Every item was too good . Special mention will be the Paneer Patiala. It's a totally new item for me which I loved thoroughly . I would definitely suggest it . Other items were also commendable.

Inspite of the huge rush , huge number of orders and all ...there was no issue with the quality or quantity. Yess , there was a bit delay in making space and getting us a table but the rest was good .

So if you are visiting this place on any festive time please keep some spare time in your hand because you'll surely have to wait for a while .

And always go for kebabs , and mughlai items . It's their speciality. I went there 4-5 times but I never miss the kebabs : juicy and...

This is my third time that i went to sher e punjab Theatre Road outlet..i would like to mention that before it used to a small restaurant with 2-3 tables..but now they have expand their restaurant and niw it becomes restaurant cum cafe..where you can get cuisines like north indian, mughlai, chinese etc..and now they added in their menu cafe items also like sandwiches, burgers,coffees, rolls etc.. And now comes to food, we have ordered chicken tandoori and mixed chowmein.. Chicken Tandoori was very good in taste but this time tandoori size is little bit small compare to that we had tried earlier..And mixed chowmein was also very good in taste there is lots of chicken, egg, and prawns were there but the quantity was little bit less...that we had eaten earlier.. Overall good experience...there food quality was very very good..but should improve and focus on little bit...

I went there today to have dinner as it's such a reputed name , but it turned out to be complete fraud. They charged extra 10 INR each on water bottle ( MRP 20 INR) and cold drink (MRP 20 INR). On asking why are they charging extra, they were like " yahan aisa hi hota hai ". We asked them for a proper GST bill to which they replied " You'll get it when the owner comes. The owner is not here and he'll come after 30 mins." We obviously knew that there was no point waiting, so we paid whatever the bill they had made. I've attached the photos also here. You can see it.
