This place is really underrated and it deserves more and more reviews and customers. It is tucked into a cosy corner near Kalighat Metro Station. The atmosphere is peaceful and quaint and you can see the cooking happening live in front of you. You can hear the chopping of vegetables and the sound of the mixer. We ordered a plate of grilled chicken sandwich, a cold coffee and a black coffee. The sandwich is hands down the best sandwich I have ever had. There is chicken, cheese with a filling of egg and the taste is just perfect. The cold coffee was thick and frothy and the chef explained that they had used a special cream for it instead of milk or ice cream which was very beneficial for my health. This little cafe in between lake market and Rashbehari avenue is a ideal place to grab a quick bite on your way. The owner is very warm and likes to chat and happy to give food recommendations considering your taste. I had a bacon Pineapple sandwich and Black coffee. The sandwich was very tasty and the owner happily obliged my request to add pineapple to it.
