The place was super costly, especially when considering the atmosphere and space of the café. At first glance, the café exuded a sense of exclusivity and sophistication, with its sleek, modern design and strategically placed décor elements meant to create an ambiance of luxury. However, as one delves deeper into the experience, it becomes apparent that the high prices are not justified by the overall offering.
The café’s seating arrangements, though visually appealing, were cramped and uncomfortable. Tables were placed too close to one another, making it difficult to have a private conversation without overhearing or being overheard by neighboring patrons. This lack of personal space detracted significantly from the enjoyment of the visit. Additionally, the acoustics of the room were poorly designed, causing a constant hum of background noise that further diminished the atmosphere.
The lighting, while trendy, was often too dim for practical purposes, making it hard to read a menu or appreciate the presentation of the food and beverages. Speaking of which, the menu items, though artfully described and presented, did not live up to their price tags. Portions were modest, and the taste, while decent, was not exceptional enough to warrant the premium cost. The service, although polite, was not attentive enough to justify the high prices either.
In summary, while the café attempted to position itself as a high-end establishment through its design and pricing, it fell short in delivering an experience that matched the cost. The cramped seating, poor acoustics, dim lighting, and unremarkable food all contributed to a feeling that the place was more style than substance, leaving patrons questioning whether the steep prices were...

It's situated just next to Apollo Gleneagles hospital, Kakurgachi.
The ambience is very good and calm. It's much better than the quality and taste of the food.
Staff behaviour was good, but service was very much slow. Took 25 min to refill the chicken items.
The lunch buffet cost 550 rupees per person, check Nearbuy app for details. We got the buffet at 300 rupees(per person) because we had 250 rupees coupons from our previous purchase on that app. So better use the Nearbuy app next time 😎😉. They also have breakfast and dinner buffet.
In the buffet menu, there were- *Hot and Sour Chicken Soup (very delicious, one of the best soups ever had in a buffet 😋)
Appetizers- *Cheese Ball (perfect cheese pull, nice taste😌) *Daal bora (average) *Chili chicken (good ❤️)
*Salad bar- Green Salad, Raita, Achar, Papad
Main course- *Veg Au Gratin ❤️ *Jeera rice (not properly cooked) *Indian bread- Tandoori rooti/Naan/Butter naan *Yellow Dal *Aloo goobi masala *Paneer Butter masala ❤️ *Sorshe fish (delicious) *Chicken kasha (tasted good 👍)
Desserts- *Chocolate Brownie (average) *Angoori gulab jamun (worthless) *Caramel custard (below average) [**Dessert section needs much more improvement]
P.S- They charged us 76 rupees for a 1 litre mineral water bottle (normal 20 rupees aquafina) with GST🌚
Overall rating-
Food: 3.5/5 Price: 3/5 (choose the buffet option, a la carte costs much more, but same food quality as buffet) Ambience: 5/5 Hospitality: 5/5
Overall nice experience. Just don't come here with expectations for the buffet. Then, you will feel good, as it's a pocket...
Read moreA 24 x 7 cafe, The Soul Cafe does justice to its patrons. The nature of this cafe is such that you can soothe yourself anytime during the day or night. Since it is situated right beside Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, this cafe comes in handy when late night emergencies arise. A tensed mind might need a cup of coffee to straighten minds.
The Visitel houses the Soul Kitchen, a multi-cuisine restaurant and the Soul Cafe. Review of Soul Kitchen will follow next.
It is a small cafe with seating for about 10-15 persons. It serves finger food, pastas, pizzas and mocktails. They have a wide range of coffee and tea as well. You can almost everything in the menu for all of the 24 hours. So whether its a late night craving or emergency, this place will serve to satisfy you.
The food quality is good. We had the Fish 'n' Chips with Tartar Sauce. The fish filet was very thin, and the coating a tad bit oily. The fries served along was created perfectly. Just the size I wanted.
Next up was the Masala French Fries. Same ol' fries with a humble sprinkling of paprika masala. Good thing it turned out to be crispy and crunchy.
Lastly, it was the Veg Burger to go by. This took a lot of time to come by. The burger bun was soft and the cutlet was well prepared. It had an onion slice, a tomato slice and a big lettuce, complete with mayonnaise. It was good to have and very filling though.
The ambiance is tidy and feels like an airport like cafe. The waiters are well behaved and polite. Although the service needs to be fastened. There are loads of pastries and cakes available as well, so as to satisfy your...
