Tucked away on Prince Anwar Shah Road in South Kolkata, Beanshot Café is a cute little gem that’s perfect for casual catch-ups, solo work sessions, or just a quick coffee fix. It’s not a massive place, but the ambiance makes up for it—cozy seating, warm lighting, some greenery, and a few corners that are totally Insta-worthy (yes, that floral cage setup!).
What makes Beanshot stand out is the vibe—it feels welcoming and relaxed, whether you're popping in with friends or just sipping a latte with a book. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is usually quick, even during slightly busy hours.
Now, let’s talk food. Their coffee game is strong—from creamy cappuccinos to quirky “selfieccinos” that literally have your face printed on the foam. It’s a fun little touch that everyone ends up photographing. If you’re hungry, their Nashville chicken burger, dirty fries, and prawn popcorn are highly recommended. The menu is a mix of global comfort food—think fish and chips, peri-peri chicken, pastas, and cheesy everything. Portions are decent, and the pricing is fair—around ₹700–₹1000 for two, depending on how hungry you are.
Weekends can get a bit packed since the place is relatively small, so it’s smart to go during off-peak hours if you want a quieter vibe. A few folks have mentioned that the coffee can be a tad strong sometimes, but nothing too off-putting.
Overall, Beanshot Café is a cozy, flavourful, and friendly spot in the middle of a busy area. It’s ideal for everything from a casual date to a post-shopping snack stop. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area—and don’t forget to snap a pic of your coffee...
Read moreThe beanshot cafe is such a well decorated cafe at the heart of Lake Gardens,at just about a minute of walking distance from the lords more. All the staffs running the cafe are extremely courteous, well spoken and polite. Our ordered consisted of the following: Hot Chocolate - It was super delicious. They were also kind enough to give us a couple of extra marshmallows when we requested them for it. Iced Coffee - It was average at most. I would much rather prefer the hot chocolate over their coffee. Bacon Wrapped Prawns - Ahhmazing. It's an absolute must try here! Butter Chicken Pizza - the topping was extremely tasty, the base was thin crust. Loved it so much ❤️. Another must try dish! Chicken Melani - chicken pieces in cheesy sauce. An absolute perfection. They broil the cheese on top that results in the kind of semi crisp top which is my absolute favourite. This is a must try as well! For desserts we wanted to order Brownie but they did not have it that day so we ordered their recommended Strawberry cheesecake. It was extremely sweet and tasted average. Their service is the one to talk about. We ordered a second helping of the bacon wrapped prawns because the first one was so amazing but the second one was very salty. When they learned about the same, they changed the remaining pieces we had. They even gave us complementary chocolate cupcakes because we didn't get the brownie we wanted. Will definitely visit again to try out their...
Read moreI have been visiting their Patuli branch for quite some time but I wanted to try their Lord's branch so we went there. We tried our beanshot favourites there (the Patuli ones were becoming lesser flavourful everytime we would go there, idk why) but I was happy to see their BBQ pizza had quite a lot of succulent chicken pieces tossed in that BBQ sauce that I used to love in the Patuli Branch but isn't the same anymore there. Their peri peri potato wedges are honestly another fan favourite of mine - the spicy and tangy kick gets my salivary glands scintillating every time I think about it. We also tried their brownie shake which could do with a bit less sweetness but was otherwise very good. We loved their pan fried fish starter, it was perfect. Ironically their iced latte could do with a bit more finesse, considering this cafe started by being famous for their coffee. We also tried their grilled fish with mashed potato and gravy and that was delish as well. But please, keep up this quality, as some dishes of your Patuli branch is kind of getting degraded. Overall, it's a beautifully decorated place and is a really good place to...
