The Junkyard — Restaurant in Kolkata

The vibes here are pretty fun ! I love the backdrop of quirky paintings , the seats were made in the shape of tires adding to the rustic decor , the walls painted black making the atmosphere a bit dark , with the yellow lights to accentuate the food placed in front of you .

We were hella hungry and right after walking out from Shyambazar Metro station we located this place . The items we ordered were Chicken Grilled Burger and Paneer Tikka Pizza with the Mango Mojito to chug it all down.

Coming to the quality of the food it goes hand in hand with the price you pay for it , according to the price,I'll say it's a steal deal . The size of the burger did lead to a bit of disappointment but the taste made up for it given the fact that we were literally famished , so yes it tasted good .

The Pizza was a thin crust pizza, with 4 regular sized slices, ull have to ask for the seasonings they don't provide u with the dish which is normally done elsewhere. We also had to ask for napkins.

The Mango Mojito was a bit watery but it did it's work by helping to chug down the other dishes

Coming to the cons , the area is very small , by small I mean u have to share tables , like we did with one couple sitting in front of us and kept on bickering, well ik it's not going to happen to all but that's the con of sharing tables , u don't know who is going to be seated infront of you . The place could hardly accommodate 14 people , that's it.

But if your budget is real tight or u wanna have fancy junk food by spending really less then please pay a visit over here .

Last Friday I visited The Junkyard cafe and restaurant at Shyambazar, near Manindra college, Kolkata and that was my first visit of The Junkyard cafe and restaurant. I just fell in love with their cozy ambiance, decoration, black theme and mostly their unique, variety types and flavours of food items.

There were so many varieties and truly I couldn't eat all those items at a time.

I'll recommend everyone to try out their Chicken burger (150/-), Chicken tikka sandwich (150/-), Tempura fish (basa) with chips (230/-), Pan fried pepper prawns (250/-) 😋
