I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rehan Restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Located conveniently near the "Shyambazar metro," this restaurant boasts a prime location that is easily accessible. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a cozy atmosphere and a friendly staff.

One of the highlights of my visit was the extensive menu. Rehan Restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. There is something to suit every palate. From the moment I saw the menu, I knew I was in for a treat.

The Special Fried Rice was a standout dish. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the rice was cooked to perfection. It was a delightful combination of vegetables and spices that left me craving for more. Another must-try dish is the Chicken and Mutton Biryani. The aroma itself was enough to make my mouth water, and the taste did not disappoint. The biryani was rich and flavorful, with tender pieces of meat.

For those who enjoy rolls, the Chicken Cheese Roll is a definite winner. The chicken was succulent, and the cheese added a delightful creaminess to the dish. The Chicken Drums of Heaven were another highlight. They were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a delectable sauce that added an extra kick.

I’m a pure vegetarian, and I usually don’t mind dining at restaurants that serve both veg and non-veg food — most of my friends eat non-veg, so I’m used to dining at places with mixed menus. But what happened here was extremely disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable.

At first I was not in mood to eat anything but on insistence from my friends I reluctantly did. I had ordered Veg Hakka Chowmin, and after eating nearly half of it, I found pieces of chicken in my plate. At first, I thought maybe I was mistaken — but no, it was clearly meat.

When I politely confronted the owner, instead of apologizing, he behaved as if it was no big deal. His tone was dismissive and rude, which made the situation worse. Accidental mistakes can happen, but how you handle them matters — and here, there was no accountability at all.

Yes, the taste of the chowmin was just okay — nothing remarkable — but the lack of care in preparation and the indifference shown when I raised the concern was quite shocking.

In a city like Kolkata, I understand it’s hard to find pure vegetarian restaurants, and I’m not expecting perfection — but basic sensitivity and hygiene in food handling is the minimum anyone can ask for.

Definitely not going back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to any vegetarian who takes their food...

I have visited this restaurant many times and based on my experience here is my review: Food* They have a huge variety of food options, starting from many different types of rools(cheese corn etc) to momos, biriyani, noondle,soups and all.. i have tried some of their foods and they were delicious. Their "must try" menu is highly recommended I've tried some of them and they didn't disappoint me. Overall this place is highly recommended for their foods.

Budget I've added some photos of the menu card , but overall I'll say its a very pocket friendly place with delicious food.

Customer service The owner him self is very welcoming guy. He knows how to deal with customers & other staff members are also good. If you request to customize your food a little bit they would do that without any complaints. Overall their service is very welcoming & friendly.
