Edit:
First review written on: 06/06/2018, 10:09 am The café is midway between Doordarshan campus and Golf Green bus depot, on Uday Shankar Sarani. The first impression while entering this place was good. After that, everything went south. This is an overhyped café, nothing else. Most of the part is open-air. The part inside is very small, I repeat, very small. The decor is good, but not something to brag about much except the bicycle wheel above, below a 'mapped' background. The service is slow though the staff is very polite. Food quality is overall good. But some items are just overhyped, eg- dab zuzu: it's a very average drink, nothing special about it at all. It's just plain coconut mixed with crushed ice. I was hoping for something unique after reading all the '5* reviews'. But was utterly disappointed. Nothing to remember or come back for. Even mere lemon tea is absent in the menu card. But Earl Grey is there. And when I visited, the AC was not working. Outside it was hot, inside it was suffocating. Since there aren't many cafés in this neighborhood (and by cafés, I exclude CCDs, as I don't count those as cafés but as exorbitantly priced sh*ts), for locals, it's definitely a great place to hangout with friends, loved ones or be alone with a book. For others, a place that can easily be skipped. However, one plus point I must add. They have good collection of Bengali books (on travel). Usually cafés stock only English books because Bengali is not 'fashionable' and 'trendy'. One extra star...

Read moreLocated on the golf Green Road, this is a very quaint little cafe serving variety of food choices in continental cuisine. I would recommend to try the pork platter it was really the best dish we had at travelistan on the day we went. We took pork chop too which came tossed in sauce, similar to demi glaze with sautéed veggies and two pieces of toast. The sauce was overly salty which hampered the balance of beautiful dish, but couldn't say anything at the cafe as the dish was presented with utmost care by our server. It seemed that they dont get customers who experiment much with food, hence they were a bit conscious about the other pork dishes. The theme is as the name suggests, everything your traveling soul would want for. Ceilings covered with world maps to travel graphic wall paintings, they have it all. Maintanence of the cafe is the only disappointment I had, allover it was not cleaned, one would faint if they used that uncleaned washroom which they had over there. So it's good for a quick breakfast or coffee with your friends or on your way to seek traveling in the...
