Wow! Momo — Restaurant in Kolkata

I visited the new market branch near first cry with my family. The place is amazing and I always loved wow momo. But with a heavy heart I say that the quality of service is very very poor. Wow momo takes alot of initiative to bring out great deal. But the associates bring the brand crashing down.

1. When placing the order I mentioned NOT TO ADD THE SAUCE WITH THE MOMO. INSTEAD GIVE IT ON A DIFFERENT PLATE AND DO NOT WASTE THE PARCEL CONTAINERS AS WE WERE DINING IN. I HAD REQUESTED THIS BECAUSE I HAD A 2 YEAR OLD KID WHO COULDN'T EAT SAUCE. BUT ITS SAD TO SEE THAT THE ASSOCIATES WERE IN SUCH A HURRY THAT THEY HAVE ALL THE MOMOS IN THE SAME PLATE WITH THE SAUCE IN IT. THAT WAS THR FURST ISSUE.
2. THE ASSOCIATES CALLED OUT MY TOKEN THIKING THAT MY ORDER WAS READY. BUT I WAS WRONG. ITS WAS A TOTALLY INCOMPLETE ORDER. I SAW MY ORDER AND ASKED "IS MY ORDER COMPLETE"? THE ASSOCIATE SAID YES SIR I HAVE CHECKED. SADLY I HAD TO TAKE MY BILL AND MATCH IT WITH WHAT WAS OFFERED ON THE MENU AND ALSO MATCH IT WITH WHAT WAS SERVED AT THE COUNTER. THERE WAS 1 CHEESE MOMO MISSING. THERE WAS 2 COMBO COLD DRINKS MISSING. THERE WERE 2 BOTTLES OF PEPSI THAT I PAID FOR ALSO MISSING. THERE WERE 3 ISSUES ON ONE ORDER.
3. ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCING ON THE MICROPHONE WAS SO RUDE JUST TO GET RID OF ME FROM THE COUNTER, TELLING ME DO NOT CROWD THE COUNTER YOU WILL GET YOUR MISSING STUFF LATER SO START EATING AND COME DOWN AGAIN LATER TO COLLECT IT. IS THIS THE LEVEL OF SERVICE? The food was amazing no doubt but having so many employees and the brand that wow momo is I expected well trained. Atleast the hospitality is fine to deal with as the associates have alot of irate customers so they them selves are frustrated. But atleast providing the correct order and and checking it twice or thrice as it was a big order is all that I ask for. It's just justice to what I have spent that is all I wanted. Poor! Very poor hospitality of...

Any visit to the New Market Area brags for a trip along the Lighthouse area which would result in trying either KFC, Domino's or Scoop. But, however, there are times when I have had entered Barista and Wow Momo.

Being located at such a prime spot, it is a hot shot place for Momo lovers. Since, I am not much fond if this North East dish, I do not prefer visiting it, unless of course, someone in the group forces. In one of those rare days, I happened to be at this place.

In the corridors of Lighthouse (Humayun Building) is this place standing upright without any enclosure but few seating arrangements. People visiting here generally is seen packing away food in a takeaway style, or, may be, that was a special day. Entering the horizons of Wow Momo, I pestered my friend to order who went forward with an order of a Non Veg Momo.

The staffs here are always seen preoccupied, partly due to the presence of customers all the time and partly because of their boredom with the work. The services, in my view, are slow enough. But, the saddest part of this place is that the staffs can never be seen smiling,.

The food, ie, the momo was okayish, but, the soup isn't good at all. Well yeah, you can say that since I do not like eating momo I am criticising, but, my dear, I am fond of soup which was not good at all. (Hint- Try the soup of Chicken Momo at Red Bamboo Shoot). Even the friend with whom I visited said that the quality is slowly deteriorating, hinting at the soup.

A visit not much...

I was there yesterday. I never had such bad behavior from a shop keeper. We asked if the 199 combo offer was available or not. Firstly he pretend if he didn't know what I was saying. So I repeated again this time with clear and elaborative way. Again he pretending like he never heard abouth anything like that. So I searched in google for that combo picture and showed him the first result (image of the combo with pricing). He has so bad behavior, he just looked at that picture and said - " What is written on the top" I looked at the image but couldn't find anything .. so i asked him "what? Sorry" instead of just telling what is the matter he keep saying "What is written on the top" i already started feeling humiliated.. Then a staff from side said it's written on top for valentine month. Dude the picture is from google it can be from a past event so what.

As I remember even some of my friends ordered that combo few months ago it was available taht time. What if it's not? He could have just said no its not available anymore. Why the humiliation? It was so disgusting behavior. Me and my friend we left immediately. But this experience was so rough! Never going back to this Espalamade WoW Momo outlet.

I dont know the staff . But he was wearing a yellow dress unlike others who were in red. Also he was a little older maybe in his late 30s or above. Next time anyone faces the same please complain the higher...
