Today we was supposed to go to Canteen but due to some reason didn't. This K Local pub's member were holding an entry counter just outside the canteen entrance. They called us saying we are having happy hours without cover charge and shot us with there offer of LIT of only 149/-. Although we were shocked with the price but still thought of giving a try, expecting that utmost the LIT won't be upto mark.

There after once we were in, my friend order 1 LIT since we were not sure of the taste.

There after a waiter came and told us for happy hour it's MANDATORY to PAY SERVICE CHARGE. I countered by saying it's completely unethical and illegal for keeping a bound to pay service charge. Still after lots of argument we agreed, just because we need to taste what kind of LIT are they serving. When they gave it to us it looked like coke in glass. After tasting, it met our prior expectation. It's was just a mixture of coke and Bacardi white rum or something similar but not any mixture, trust me my friends were about to puke. When we complained regarding this, they stated this is the exact taste of LIT, and this is how it is supposed to be. Like seriously?

Now since the taste really went off, we decided to order French fries, pineapple and orange juice, blenders pride(99/- happy hour), Jin beam(199/- happy hour).

Pineapple and orange juice felt like it's 90% water and rest is flavour. French fries were not at all upto the mark.

There after we asked for bill and now the real thing comes into picture. They added both the happy hour and normal food in one bill and added a service charge over the entire bill. Over complaining they tried to act like "Yehi yahan ka rule hai, hamare yahan aisa hi hota hai". They said if we want we can take the happy hour item as normal meal and there after they will remove the service charge. Literally I had to quarrel with them of 10mins there after with huge disregard, they printed 2 bills, one for happy hour adding the service charge and another for meal.

Now decisions is yours, you still want to go to this nasty, cheap and...

I had the most horrible experience here, and I've been to many pubs, cafes, restro bars. there was a group of people smoking in the closed dining area, in ac. it created a forceful passive smoking area, and it was so suffocating to not just us but others too. even after two-three tables complained , they did nothing and defended that this is a regular thing that's allowed, they claimed to have a licence for allowing smoking in closed, ac dining areas. (though legally, it's not allowed to smoke in closed dining areas. it's illegal) they had no separate smoking or open area. I went in the afternoon for lunch here, with my mother. while I was aware this is a pub like place, it was an off time and we didn't have issue even if people were drinking around us. a simple starter took so long to be served, mojito was watered down with ice though we requested for no ice. waiters were so reluctant to attend, even water wasn't served when we arrived. due to the smoking thing we had to pack our food and leave. the manager told us that they aren't a fine dining and that this is what happens in pubs, also implied that I shouldn't have come with my mother. there was a senior couple too, they also left angrily, their complains were also ignored. we had ordered a pizza and took it to-go, after coming home we saw they hadn't even given basic oregano and chilli flakes. wouldn't recommend to anyone. friends or family, you'll basically be forced to participate in passive smoking if there's a group of people doing it. the restaurant literally sided with one table and ignored the rest 3 tables who were having trouble. worst...

One of the worst place K local in the city. Not at all safe for girls... visited on Sunday 24/09/2023 with my friend, when we ask waiter for any offer..he explained along with the statement you have to pay service tax, when I told him regarding tax guidelines, he discussed with his team members after that when we asked for regular water he said we don't serve regular water you to pay for mineral water again I have to teach him restaurant rules and norms .. after that he served regular water, we order one cocktail where he discribed there will be orange juice cranberry juice and vodka but when they served it's only cranberry juice no orange juice no vodka...when we ask the waiter what u served thrs no vodka he started argument....all the staff came over there asking us low the voice rather than asking there own employees not to argument who is using abusive language and they asked us to leave from the restaurant....how can they ask a guest to leave .....this kind of hospitality in K local seems like there staff are goons(Gunda types) ....m really surprised and shocked howz the owner of k local given the instructions to there employees how to treat there guest and ask them to leave the restaurant whereas the fault was there own employees....I never recommend this place to any...
