WOW China — Restaurant in Kolkata

They served the order fast which is okay. But they were about to mess our orders up. I clearly spoke loud enough for them to hear what I want. They did a mistake and chose the wrong item on their screen. Good that they re-read the order and I told them that’s not the one which I chose. They acted rude as if it was my mistake and not theirs. They can’t even take a single order of a simple veggie fried rice.

I went there with my elderly father who is not used to this type of food but as we were out of options at that time and this was the nearest eating spot to our hotel, we had to go there. My father was confused what he wants to eat so we took some time to finally fix our choices and I went to order. That staff member observed us the whole time while he was eating. I was ordering to a different staff but that guy showed up to take our orders and acted as if we were bothering him so much.

I am really very disappointed with them. I’ve went to different outlets of Wow China. But this was the worst.

Had ordered for lunch through Swiggy on January 4, 2025, Saturday. My order comprised of non-vegetarian fried rice, non-vegetarian hakka noodles, and chicken Manchurian (multiple portions). I have two grievances with regard to the order. Extremely poor value for money. Those were tiny dishes, miniscule portions in fact, compared to the 1987 rupees spent on the full order (Swiggy charges included). Is this how you correlate pricing with quantity?! By what economics? Please explain. With what kind of market logic? Please clarify. It was annoying. Chains more reputed than yours charge at least fifty percent less for exactly the same order.

The dishes were unpalatable. Not satisfactory in taste at all. Disappointing. I felt very upset serving that food to my friends. Have been a fan of Wow Momo for decades. Certainly didn't expect this. Can't accept either.

Very very bad service. We placed our order at 13:56 at that time the counter personnel PRIYA told us that we should wait for 15 minutes. But at around 14:35 when we asked for the order, they said till now the order is not ready, wait for 5 minutes,just like this they spent again two times 5 minutes again. So now the waiting time is 49 minutes in place of 15 minutes. But the online orders of Zomato swiggy was delivered promptly. So if they are interested to deliver online orders then why they opened the dine in outlets. We are highly dissatisfied. Regarding the service and all the cleanliness. Bcoz the bathroom was much more worse than the kolkata public...
