Zaikebaaz — Restaurant in Kolkata

This is another delivery gem of South Kolkata , located at Naktala this place serves north indian ,mughlai cuisine at its best. They also have Chinese cuisine but I ordered from their north indian section . Packaging is very good and prices are also pocket friendly .

I ordered few kebabs from this place. First of all the chicken reshmi kebab which was good in portion as the chicken was very soft . The kebabs were melting in the mouth . Then there was fish tikka. Perfectly grilled and had great marination which could be felt with every bite.

Now let's get straight to the dish of the day for me , the attractive looking chicken tandoori. It is a preparation made by marinating a chicken with yoghurt and lots of indian spices then roasting it inside a tandoor . The chicken was soft and spicy as it should be . I really loved every bite of it .

For the mains I focused on Jeera rice that I paired with chicken do peyaja . The preparation is made with two onions or two types of onions . Different people have different recipes . Here the gravy had great flavours mostly sweet to the tastebuds and it just paired very well with the Jeera rice which is a simple rice preparation made with lots of cumin seeds.

After watching the movies Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins 2025, Havoc 2025, The Diplomat 2025, Sikandar 2025, White House Down 2013, Mission Impossible 5: Rogue Nation 2015, Raees 2017, Badla 2019, Night Swim 2024, Do Patti 2024 and Afwaah 2023 on Netflix. I ordered 1 Paneer Roll for Rs. 115/- and 1 Chicken Biryani with Chicken Chaap Combo for Rs. 299/- with Order Packing Charges Rs. 17.00/- and Platform Fee Rs. 11.80/- and Taxes Rs. 14.55/- with Free Delivery Charge (Free with Swiggy One) of Rs. 62.00/- my Grand total amount was Rs. 457.00/- and with discount code applied (FLATDEAL) I saved Rs. -199.99/- on my entire bill. Total I saved Rs. -261.99/- I placed an order at around 5:28pm and it was delivered within 41 minutes by 6:09pm. My net payable amount was Rs. 257.00/- which I paid it in cash on delivery to the delivery boy JAY CHANDRA SHAW. Finding food is not hard these days but finding good quality food very hard. For last few days in such a concerned situation, craving for food was high and thus found this one a couple if days back.

The place is located in naktala area just opposite of naktala post office. It is just 5min walking distance from masterda surya sen metro station and very easy to find.

The staff behaviour here was too good and their service promt also. This is mainly a delivery joint and their food speaks for themselves.

I tried one of their most selling item that is the Rajma chawal combo along with chicken drums of heaven. The rice was well cooked and the rajma gravy was very light. Everyone can have this without worrying about spiciness. The drums of heaven though were very spicy but it kinda complemented the rajma gravy.

Overall the experience was very pleasant and one of the best meal that I had in a long time. I would certainly recommend this...
