Apsara Restaurant — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

An old restaurant situated next to rabindra natya graha. There is an outdoor seating available. On entering you dont feel like entering a restaurant, no ambience, no lighting, poor interiors, it would definitely force to think back of entering it. When you enter inside there is a conjuated arrangement of tables and chairs. It takes much time to get food on your table. We ordered chilly paneer and veg lollipop in starters which were tasty where chilly paneer had a slight edge. In main course we ordered paneer punjabi and veg kofta which were okay. We didnt felt a rich blend of spices. Stuff naan was boring and has large pieces of potato. Chilly naan was also not up to the mark. Rates were little high wrt overall usability. As a kid Apsara restaurent used to be my number one choice for eating out. It was reasonably priced - excellent food.

Today they have the best location for a resturant in Indore but the experience is so disappointing that one wonders why the owners do not do something about it.

Pretty average food, dull ambience, old uninviting furniture and totally jaded staff makes it no-choice.

Even corner of the street "bhojanalayas" have more spirited efforts in Indore. Food is still above...
