Being a loyal customer for so long makes the store take you as granted just as any regular customer. So the NEW MANAGER is pretty arrogant in dealing with the customers. We ordered a slice of blueberry cheesecake and one of choco truffle pastry. The Manager thought we ordered choco coffee cheesecake instead of truffle and placed the order and confirmed it to us on WhatsApp which we were supposed to pickup in the next hour. When I tried to clarify that i have clearly mentioned that I need a "truffle pastry" not a choco coffee cheesecake, he says - 'We already made it for you and now can't change it.' Seriously?? What can you not change? You can't cut a slice of truffle for us? Or you can't put the choco coffee cheesecake back in the shelf? Let me just ask what kind of order is placed for a pastry that makes him not being able to change it? I tried to stay calm and said we'll just pick up the slice of blueberry cheesecake if that's the case, and he literally said 'This is not right on your part.' and BLOCKED my contact on WhatsApp. Woahhh!! Read moreI had placed an order for fresh Pineapple-Strawberry cake, but received a very funky tasting cake with preserved fruits in it. Made the staff aware about the situation, they didn't even have the decency to accept their mistake.
Earlier, I had placed an order almost a week back, and on the day of delivery (2 hours before the event) they called to tell me that they forgot to prepare the cake.
Baker's castle used to be a great establishment, it'll be sad to see it drown because of the incompetent staff.
EDIT (After bakery’s false accusations): The cake was required on 7th June and I informed them the very next day, after which I posted the reviews, hence falsifying the timeline. It didn’t taste good so only 1 piece was cut out of it and the rest of the cake was remaining as is, so if you had asked or given me an option for replacement I would have happily opted for it. Regarding the preserved cherry chunks, the worker specifically asked my fruit requirements during the order placement, and made it clear that pineapple kiwi wouldn’t be possible, so the same could’ve done...

We ordered a Blue Berry Cheesecake, Veg Extravaganza Pizza, Schezwan Fries and one of the Flat breads. While we found the cheesecake to be extremely delightful. The other items we ordered didn’t meet the expectations and quality we anticipated.
Additionally, we encountered issues with time management as well. We informed the staff before placing the order that we needed our food to be packed if it wasn't ready by 3.00 pm, and they initially agreed.
However, when it came time to pack our order, they initially refused altogether to even pack the food. And when we confronted them, they only did so after charging an extra amount. Which is not acceptable at all.
Our experience at Bakers Castle was extremely awful, and the staff needed to be trained more professionally. Also, kindly improve on your menu items as well. Except the cheesecake, all the food items tasted almost the same and very bad.
