A Mixed Bag of Magic and Disappointment
As a regular patron since this restaurant first opened its doors, I’ve always had a soft spot for its unique ambiance and once-distinctive menu that set it apart from other places in Bhopal. However, my experience on August 17, 2024, left much to be desired.
Let’s start with the positives: the atmosphere last night was nothing short of magical. The evening was elevated by two incredible musicians—a lady with a voice that could melt even the most stressed-out diner, and a male vocalist who also played the guitar with effortless charm. Their performances were the highlight of the night, creating an enchanting vibe that, frankly, saved the evening from being a complete letdown.
Now, onto the not-so-pleasant parts. The service was disappointingly slow, a stark contrast to the efficient and attentive experience I’ve come to expect from this place. The wait times were unreasonable, and the food, which once stood out as innovative and flavorful, was lackluster at best. The flavors seemed to have lost their punch, and the dishes now resemble what you’d find at any other mediocre spot in town.
To make matters worse, the cocktails were downright bad. They lacked the balance and creativity that used to make them a standout on the menu. It’s as if the passion and attention to detail that once characterized this place have gradually faded away.
I couldn’t help but notice that the familiar faces who used to manage the restaurant with such care and professionalism were nowhere to be seen. Only a couple of staff members from the early days seem to still be around, and the difference in management quality is painfully apparent.
In summary, while the restaurant still has the potential to shine—especially with talented performers like the ones last night—the overall experience is slipping. I’m giving a higher rating mainly because of the magical atmosphere created by the singers, but I sincerely hope the management takes this as a wake-up call to bring back the charm that made this place special in the first place. Otherwise, it risks being overshadowed by the new spots that are rapidly gaining...
Read moreA good and trendy concept of restaurant being started in the city of Bhopal. Boscos is located inside DB Mall on the top most floor adjacent to Cinepolis. It is open till 11.30 pm so you can even dine in after your movie gets over. The menu is typical blend of Continental food including Pasta, Raveoli, Pizza, Sandwiches, Burger, Starter and Desserts. Although we ordered quite a lot of things, most of the things tasted good except Desserts. I think they need to re consider their Dessert part and should not save money by cutting the ingredients of the Dessert. Rest their service is damn fast. You order one dish and it is there in a flash. Also i found it is a bit expensive on the pocket part. The people of Bhopal are not so eager to pay money this much amount of money on food where one Starter roughly averages between Rs. 350-400. Their ambience is also good and can put this on your bucket list for having dine in...

The ambiance of the place is really good and the interior is fully bohemian. The feel of the place is nice.
🥘 FOOD:-
• HUMMUS TRIO was good in taste. Pita was soft and scrumptious and tasted really good with the hummus trio.
• CREAM OF CHICKEN soup was also good.
• CHICKEN KAFTA was NOT good at all. It tasked like seekh kebab but a really low quality one. Could not taste the cheese inside at all.
• COTTAGE CHEESE STEAK was the worst dish that we tasted. Totally bland and the barbecue sauce also did not taste that good. Rice were all soggy and bad.
🤵🏻♂️ SERVICE Staff was professional but the service was also very slow. The food took a lot of time to be prepared.
I personally did not like the Food at all. You can find better quality food for lesser prices all over Bhopal. I would not recommend if you’re specific about spending money on good...
