Charles Chicken Point — Restaurant in Madurai

Superb taste. In fact I am a foodie born in madurai presently settled in pune. I usually come to madurai for mainly to eat in all the regular places. In 2008, during my trip to madurai I was taken to this restaurant.

I was amazed by seeing various types of gravy they provide for the parottas. I had a very nice experience there. The main reason is where I live I do jot get these type of food regularly and they use regular maharashtrian masalas.

After the first visit to this restaurant It had become one of the place I visit when ever I am in madurai with out fail.

I was big fan of this shop but now got disappointed with the attitude of the owner , when I asked for all the gravys they serve he said no it's not for parcel only for eat at the place.i requested him this many types of gravies is the only reason I have come from far.He said the prices are high so can't again i requested, well you can charge seperately for that i will pay .but he rudely replied not possible if you want eat there. Went for dinner, I tried parotta, grill chicken, chicken chukka and vadiyal. The standout feature of this place is the variety of gravies offered for parotta, all of which tasted delicious. Parotta wasn't flaky, which I didn't enjoy much. On the other hand, both the chicken chukka and vadiyal were excellent, but grill chicken was the worst.
