HOTEL VILVAAS — Hotel in Madurai

Absolutely loved this hotel and their roof top restaurant. I don’t spend much time within the hotel, and so the room size didn’t bother me, I was only interested in the cleanliness and service which were spot on. They do accept foreigners which was great because a lot of hotels have refused me because of my nationality. The hotel itself provides 24 hour checkout which really helped me because my flights are usually in the evening. The cost for a single room was a bargain which includes breakfast. I was planning on flying out to Hyderabad the following day but then decided to stay an additional 3 nights because it came to my knowledge that the hospital next to the hotel has a doctor, Dr Srilathe, who was registered to provide the health certificate required for the Amarnath Yatra which I needed. Am glad I visited that particular hospital because the staff were really helpful as well as the other patients that were there. All in all, lovely place, and great staff. The cost for taxi to airport was r/s 421 via Ola app which the hotel recommended to me. Thank you guys, hopefully see you at some point...

I visited madurai Meenakshi temple with my parents. The stay was overall very nice at Hotel Vilvaas for one night. Location: Very convenient Location considering the temple is only 2.3 Kms and Located on the main road near Govt Hospital. Rooms: I had taken a Superior Deluxe Room It was spacious and clean including the toilet. Bed wise on the very softer side might be an issue for some. Only complaint: Towels not very clean recommended carrying your own. Included breakfast for 2 members was decent & simple spread. Service wise not that great they don't have many staff. Morning after 7:45 only tea and coffee orders can be placed. Luggage self service. Parking in front of the hotel limited to 3 cars remaining can be parked anywhere on the main road space is available. No stay for the driver is available unless the room is booked separately but the toilet...

What kind of hotel is this i don't know, simply the mad people here, when I asked for room for me and my wife due to some emergency situation they asked for the ID cards with the same address (in order to show that we are married), i don't know whether these people lives in another world or not, as we didn't change her address yet, i told them I could give the ID cards as well as marriage certificate, still they denied rooms stating they can it give room as it is in hotel policy, what kind of policy it is i don't know. Simply the poor people or living in some other universe, where the married couple should show the I'd prove with a similar id card to prove to them that they are married not even a marriage certificate won't work on...
