HOTEL ARCHANA — Restaurant in Madurai

The hotel was very old. Rooms are pathetic, with no proper wall paintings. The cots were old and room smells bad. No TV & wash basin in one of the room we booked. N the morning shift person promised us an extra bed and made to check in, when we came back in the night, the night shift person says no info to him and can’t provide additional bed. We booked two rooms and in one of the room, AC stopped working in the midnight. Beds, linens, towels all were so filthy. They assured geysers were working when checked in, but it didn’t work. They dont have night shift room attenders, hence asking customers to fill hot water in a common area. Definitely not worth the amount you pay and definitely not for family. We come for a function,. It was in 3 rd floor....no facility ... lift was shaking. And it is too risky...for us.... With my kids because it a grill gate model ...the lift button not working and the lift is dancing .and the food was worst.....all rice are broken...its like kurunai broken rice food.... And when we go for lunch opposite bathroom smells worst while eating on third floor function....if this was corrected...the hotel was in the main...

Bathroom wall rubbish, bathroom ceiling not durty, tv no working, hot water need to carry from end of veranda . I think room number 117.... Always noice staff are chatting chatting, not able to sleep well. Check out time no one in reception table, just kept key on the table and come out, bed sheet hole . Not good experience.... Wast of money..... Stayed 9th may night..... But very bad...
