Food & Taste
Idli(⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) The idlis here are exceptionally soft, fluffy, and perfectly steamed. They melt in your mouth and pair beautifully with the coconut chutney and sambar. The chutney is fresh, creamy, and mildly spiced, while the sambar has a balanced mix of tanginess and spice, making it highly enjoyable.
Vada (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) The medu vadas are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a well-fermented batter that gives them an authentic taste. Served hot, they are best when dipped into the flavorful sambar and chutney. The texture and crunch make them a standout dish.
Dosa & Other Items Though the focus here is on idli and vada, their dosas are equally delicious, with a crispy texture and generous fillings. The ghee masala dosa is a must-try, offering a rich, buttery flavor. The upma and Pongal are also worth mentioning for their homely taste.
Service & Pricing The staff is polite and efficient, ensuring that customers get their orders quickly. Prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent value-for-money breakfast spot.

Our recent visit to Anita's Breakfast was a complete letdown. Firstly, the so-called "self-service" setup requires customers to write their orders on a piece of paper. We clearly wrote down our order for 3 Mysore cheese masala dosas, yet we received 3 plain masala dosas instead.
When we pointed out the mistake, the response was that the cook didn't read the order properly. To add to the frustration, no complimentary item or compensation was offered for the incorrect order.
What's the point of calling it self-service if you can't even read the orders right? Anita's Breakfast needs to seriously reconsider their system and customer service standards. We left very disappointed and won't be returning...
