I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to dine at Blue Water Restaurant, and I must say, it was a highly disappointing experience. I feel compelled to share my honest feedback to spare others from enduring the same disappointing encounter. Here's a breakdown of my visit:
Unenthusiastic Waitstaff: The waiters at Blue Water were remarkably indifferent and reluctant. They seemed disinterested and lacked the basic courtesy one expects in a dining establishment. On multiple occasions, they failed to listen when called upon, leaving me feeling ignored and unimportant.
Lack of Accountability: What struck me the most about the staff was their refusal to take responsibility for any challenges encountered during my visit. Instead of treating my concerns as their own, they dismissed them, suggesting that any issues were solely my problem. This lack of accountability and empathy was disheartening and did not create a welcoming atmosphere.
Subpar Food Quality: The quality of the food at Blue Water was far from satisfactory. To put it bluntly, my maid's cooking surpasses their offerings. I ordered the Potato Wedges as an appetizer, only to be greeted with a large portion of wedges that were incredibly average in seasoning. They lacked flavor and failed to meet even the most basic expectations.
Punishing Dish: Chicken Honey Garlic: The Chicken Honey Garlic dish I ordered was nothing short of a punishment to consume. It was devoid of any discernible taste, and the flavors were disappointingly bland. It felt like a waste of ingredients and an insult to my palate. The lack of effort put into this dish was evident, leaving me utterly dissatisfied.
A Rare Gem: Margarita Pizza: Despite the overall lackluster experience, I must acknowledge that the Margarita Pizza at Blue Water was an exception. It was the only saving grace of my meal. The pizza was generously loaded with cheese, and the flavors were adequately balanced. However, it's worth noting that a single decent dish cannot redeem an otherwise dismal dining experience.
Poor Customer Service Response: To add insult to injury, when I brought up my concerns about the service, the restaurant staff showed an unwavering stance. Even though they did not charge me the service tax, their response to my complaint was stubborn and unyielding. This lack of responsiveness further highlights their disregard for customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against visiting Blue Water Restaurant. The indifferent waitstaff, lack of accountability, below-average food quality, and disappointing customer service make it an establishment that fails to meet even the most basic expectations. Save yourself the disappointment and explore other dining options that value their customers and deliver a satisfying...
Read moreMy first visit to Blue Water was enough to convince me that this would be 'the' place to host my wedding reception.
Location This place is located deep into Aundh - Ravet BRTS Road, at Punawale. It has a huge neon sign at the top of the building which is easy to spot from the main road from far.
Parking To start off with, there is a huge open plot to park your four-wheelers. In case you're too lazy to park it yourself, there is valet available as well :) :)
Ambience The ambience is excellent with a nice outdoor setting with live music playing during the evening hours. There is seating within the building as well in case you wish to be seated within a closed enclosure. The place is usually packed during the evening with a decent crowd with a mix of youngsters, office-goers and families as well.
Banquet Halls Furthermore, it has two separate rooms to host events as well. One is on the 2nd floor and the other on the ground floor. The room on the second floor is extremely spacious with decent decor covering the entire room. This was the room where the reception was hosted.
Staff/Service The staff is extremely courteous and welcoming. The service is prompt but still has some scope for improvement. Mr. Arun, the manager, is very professional and a delightful personality. My entire reception was handled seamlessly.
Food Prior to the reception, I had visited the restaurant twice to have a feel of the kind of food that was being served and I was thoroughly satisfied during both my visits. The buffet that was put up at my reception was fabulous and even as of today my guests keep complimenting the spread especially the mutton and the moong dal halwa.
Must Try Kiwi Fizz, Hara Bhara Kebab, Bhune Murg Ke Pasande, Mutton Roganjosh, Gulab Jamun, Moong Dal Halwa.
So all in all, if you're looking to host an event, be it a birthday party or a reception or anything official, or simply looking to have a nice relaxed time with friends or family(evening time is preferable) I would suggest you give this...

I had an amazing dining experience at Blue Water Multicuisine Restaurant, and I’m happy to give it a well-deserved 5-star rating.
From the moment we entered, the ambiance impressed us. The interiors are beautifully designed with a calming blue theme, comfortable seating, and soft lighting that creates a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. It's an ideal spot for both family dinners and casual meetups with friends.
The menu is extensive and truly lives up to the “multicuisine” tag. We tried a mix of Indian and Asian dishes – starting with the crispy corn and hot & sour soup, which were both flavorful and fresh. For the main course, we had paneer tikka masala, butter naan, and veg fried rice with Manchurian gravy. Each dish was well-prepared, tasted delicious, and was served in generous portions.
The dessert was the highlight – the sizzling brownie with ice cream was served perfectly and was the ideal end to our meal.
Service was prompt and courteous. The staff was friendly, attentive, and well-versed with the menu. They ensured we were comfortable and made excellent food recommendations based on our preferences.
Cleanliness and hygiene were top-notch, and the restaurant maintained a pleasant environment throughout. Even the restrooms were clean and well-maintained, which is often overlooked at many places.
The prices are reasonable considering the quality, taste, and quantity of food served. It’s truly value for money.
Overall, Blue Water Multicuisine Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way – delicious food, exceptional service, and a peaceful ambiance. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience in the city. Will definitely be visiting again...
