Dosa Corner is a small little eatery located at the entrance of Lady Veronica Lane. It is unassuming & people tend to give it a miss. It's basically more like an extension of an existing wall. However little do people who pass by know that this place serves the best bang for buck - tasty dosas in town. It doesn't have tables but benches that function as tables & a few plastic stools to sit. It cannot accommodate more than 7-8 people at one go. Today after work I went to meet my friends near this place & so had to pass it. It just so happened that I was hungry & so I stepped right in and ordered a masala dosa. My order arrived within 10 mins & it was a proper sized Udupi style dosa which is like a thin savoury crepe. It had potato masala filling inside & came with sambar & coconut chutney. The dosa by itself was also nice. It was thin & crispy & had a slight tangy taste to it. The masala was flavorful but toned down a bit to better suite the local palatte. Still pretty good. The coconut chutney was decent. The sambar was ok. Nothing great but wasn't too bad either. For 120 bucks, the size was huge. The quality was not too bad either. Have one of these & it's a meal by itself & will get your engine working for the next 3-4 hours. I happily cleaned my plate. The service was good. The gentleman was attentive & helpful. This was not my 1st time eating here but for some reason I tend to forget it exists. Thankfully I was reminded today. Overall had a very decent meal.
