The Grub — Restaurant in Meghalaya

Disappointing to say the least. Nice location and all that but the red sauce pasta was terrible. Probably used packaged sauce. The Beef Burger was a step lower than the pasta. Tye large burger was as small as a Bombay Vadapav, dry like cardboard and topped with a cheese slice and maybe a sliver of mayo. The burger is accompanied with, hold your breath, WAFERS!!! Table we occupied was dusty so I cleaned it myself with a wet and dry tissue while the guy manning the space was just looking at me. Didn’t bother even offering a hand, forget doing it himself or deputing someone. Total chalta hai attitude combined with a severely over priced menu. AVOID. Get a burger from KFC instead. Demon dawg hotdog is ordinary, penne in white sauce with chicken pasta is delicious but quantity is a bit less. May be it is that good that's why I feel the quantity is less. I recommend mousse as well. Fresh lime juice is OK. Service is quick. Park your car at the Laitumkhrah market parking lot just behind the cafe. Well, it's a great place to start with - it's consistent regarding the quality of food, and has rarely let me down. The menu offered is mouth-watering and suits if you want to lay back from the hustle and bustle of small city life, although it may be considered a bit more expensive than the usual.
