4 of us visited this establishment yesterday and were pleasantly surprised by its ambience and the lively atmosphere they provided. Unfortunately, it went pretty downhill from there.
I will end it on a positive note. The two Ramens we had were excellent.
Hope there guys learn from this feedback because they have most of the ingredients for a flourishing entity if they improve their service and...
Read morePros- Aesthetic and calm space Interior design is beautiful Food comes out quick and taste wise 7/10 Cons- Service... Last time i went to roma we were served by ruid a sweet old lady her service was excellent... I went again and was served by a young girl yes she's sweet and polite but needs to improve on attending to her customers. Actually the whole younger staff needs to learn a thing or two about customer service and professionalism. Had a hard time just to get their attention throughout our meal(and it wasn't even rush hour.. there were a few customers). When I needed them at the end of the service, they were chatting amongst themselves (they were one table away from us) and since they were not even checking up on us I had to call them."Excuse me". Every customer was looking at us....except the staff...I had to raise my voice even louder...they noticed me this time and then just giggled among themselves...our server looked at her co workers with a sad face that she's called.. it made me furious but I remained calm and apologized to her for disturbing her (not like it's their job or anything). After that the service was smooth sailing when it comes to the bill. I don't know if I'll visit again and I'm not posting a hate review I'm just describing my detailed experience at your restaurant. I hope this helps you in addressing the problem and in improving it further and...

Roma Eatery has best white sauce pasta that I've eaten, so far, in Shillong. It wasn't too creamy and it had just the right amount of chicken. The mango shake was made of fresh fruit (not from a syrup) and the staff were diligent to find out the ingredients before confirming the same. I visited this place on a Sunday - when most of Shillong is dead - and found it bristling with customers. Although the ambience inisde is pleasing to the eye and the staff are efficient (and really motivated), there is still room for improvement here. Cushions must be cleaned regularly. The menu shouldn't just be stapled sheets of paper on a writing pad. These looked worn and unclean too. The roof of the outdoor seating needs yo be improved. There are still wires, rods etc. sticking out. Overall, the food was value for money and not too expensive. Maintaining consistency will be key to the popularity...
