Went here one evening with a friend, expecting a quick and pleasant experience since the place wasn’t too busy. Unfortunately, things went downhill from the start.
We placed our order and waited for quite a while. After 30 minutes, the Kala Chana Chaat arrived and honestly, it looked like something thrown together as an afterthought. The onions felt like leftovers and were poorly chopped. We asked for a replacement, and instead of improving it, they simply removed the tomatoes and served it again. By the time it came back, I had lost all interest in eating it.
We then asked for a refund, but they couldn’t process it and told us to contact customer care ourselves. That just added to the frustration.
To top it off, Poha, which usually takes 5 minutes to make, took another 30 minutes and wasn’t worth the wait either—it was bland and underwhelming.
The manager did offer us complimentary food, which I appreciate, but by that point, the experience had already soured. It’s hard to accept free food when you’re already disappointed and don’t feel like staying any longer.
This was my first visit to this outlet, and sadly, it didn’t live up to the expectations. I’ve had much better experiences at their other outlets, so this was...
Read moreAs a chai lover, I visit this outlet every morning simply because it’s the only nearby option close to my office. But to be honest, the overall experience here is consistently disappointing.
The place is often noisy, not because of customers but because the staff talk loudly, especially while preparing orders. It creates a chaotic and unprofessional atmosphere. Service is slow and technical issues with their ordering tablet or systems are a regular occurrence.
Cleanliness is a major issue. The tables are rarely clean when we arrive. We have to ask the staff to clean them almost every day and sometimes we just get tired of asking and end up cleaning them ourselves. That’s unacceptable in any food and beverage outlet.
Compared to other Chaayos locations, this one feels neglected. It seems to lack proper supervision and the staff don’t show the level of professionalism I’ve seen elsewhere in the chain.
If there were a better tea place nearby, I would switch in a heartbeat. I hope Chaayos takes this feedback seriously and takes steps to improve the quality of service and hygiene at...
Read moreI have visited this outlet twice, and both experiences were disappointing. On my first visit, I ordered a Pav Bhaji parcel. The dish was extremely sour and contained an excessive amount of beans, lacking the authentic flavor I would expect.
On my most recent visit, I tried the Palak Chhat Crispies hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, the dish was simply a plate of fried spinach pakoras with imli chutney and low-quality sev. It fell far short of the delicious version I've had at other outlets.
For a price point of ₹250+, the food quality and taste simply do not meet expectations. The experience has been very frustrating, and I hope the quality can be improved to...
