Toast - Bistro & Bar — Restaurant in Mumbai

TOAST BISTRO AND BAR , the hidden gem in Marol. Friday night I dropped here with my friends as we wanted to dine in and sip on some drinks.

📍This place is located in T24 residency , marol. It’s a 4 star property having great arena throughout. To be precise , toast is on the 8th floor of T24 hotel.

Ambience - The decor of the restaurant is pretty amazing, They have indoor as well as terrace dining where you can dine in with your friends. The one at the poolside is superb , but it’s best when it’s not monsoon. Food - Indian , continental and few Italian cuisine is all what they offer // The bar here is having wide spread menu. It Offers you some infused cocktails and great mocktails as well. Hygiene- The arena throughout the premises of toast is totally hygienic. Value for money- Being The part of 4 star property it offers you food and drinks at very low rates with high quality dining experience. ••Well you can judge now : they serve 7 kingfisher pints at 1k only.

Our order - (🏁: denotes RECOMMENDED dishes)

•DRINKS: 1)Bartenders fizz🏁- Grenadine syrup mixed with sprite having hint bartenders special mix , the mocktail was amazing. 2)Redbull fizz🏁- Red Bull based drink having little part of orange flavor in it , it was made to perfection. 3) Gran o polis🏁- Pineapple infused cocktail having vodka served in a glass resembling pineapple was attractive and tasted great too 4)Virgin cosmopolitan- Cosmo made without using spirit.

•APPETIZERS: 1)Chargrilled butter garlic prawns- Prawns sauted In butter garlic base served along veggies. 2)Shrimp popcorn🏁- Small size prawns having super crispy coating and served with medium spicy mayo was yum. Can go amazing as a bar snack. 3)Chicken lasooni tikka🏁- Tender chicken kebabs with garlic and spicy flavor was truly delicious, presented even well with salad and mint chutney.

•MAIN COURSE:

1. Goan curry with rice/Bread 🏁- Medium spicy curry which was slight orange in color with prawns in it was a perfect main course which we had here. 2)Mushroom risotto-Risotto rice in cheesy mushroom base served with Garlic bread // sufficient for 2 pax, could have been cheesier.

•DESSERTS: 1)Kulfi falooda🏁- Traditional kulfi falooda Served In martini glass // made very well. 2)Molten chocolate cake- Hot chocolate cake served along vanilla scoop , the cake was fresh and piping hot.

-•- Overall experience was Fantastic and we are surely visiting here again :) The staff here is super friendly and they are attentive as well. Probably the best hospitality I’ve ever came across in recent times.

REVIEW IS BASED ON...

We had gone for a team dinner at this restaurant. The restaurant is located on the hotel's top floor and has both options of sitting indoors and outdoors. However, in terms of ambiance, we found out the first roadblock was that the lights were too dim. There were times when we had to use our mobile flashlights to scourge the menu.

We began our menu by ordering a Veg. Manchow soup, a few plates of Jalapeno cheese poppers, and some animal fries. The Jalapeno cheese poppers were true to their name. Being filled with cheese that had melted and mixed with jalapeno was an absolute cheese lover's delight. The dish was so good that we went for another round. The animal fries were crisp and freshly fried. They came in with two types of dips, with one being mayo. Also, the quantity of the fries was great.

The manchow soup was delicious too. It had a decent mixture of chopped veggies, and the quantity of fried noodles as a top-up was great too. Next, we ordered some veg. Kebabs and thai cottage cheese skewers. Both the dishes were excellent to taste, and the skewers came in with their portion of fries to be had with the cottage cheese. And the cottage cheese in itself was soft and juicy, made absolutely to perfection. We also ordered a plate of capriccio bruschetta and were delighted to have them.

For the main course, we went ahead with two veg. Pizzas, two plates of burnt garlic fried rice, and two plates of stir-fried vegetables. The pizzas were close to a thin crust with tons of veggies and a delicious layer of mozzarella cheese. The burnt garlic fried rice did contain a decent mixture of veggies, but it was close to a regular vegetable fried rice with almost no taste of garlic. And the stir-fried vegetables tasted delicious with the rice. Finally, we ended with five plates of chocolate mousse. Honestly stating it was the best mousse I had ever had served with a generous portion of vanilla ice cream—the perfect ending to a sumptuous dinner.

The biggest problem we faced was the order delivery was way too slow. The soup that was ordered first came in after nearly 70 mins which was too much. We complained multiple times, and we could understand that the quantity of the orders was huge, but the time taken was unreasonable, and we never really had to wait for so much time to eat. Thus, this space needs considerable improvement and also on the lighting issue.

But apart from that, the staff was pleasant and professional, and the food was indeed a foodie's delight. I would definitely recommend trying out their food. Delicious but service needs...

Location 📍 This place is located on the 8th floor of the T24 residency and it is located just 2 min away from the Airport road metro station 🚈Ⓜ️ Ambience😍 They have a good Spacious & Creative Ambience which will really blow your Mind😍🔥 The even has open dining area on the 8th floor as well as on the terrace which has a swimming pool with a Great view of the Mumbai 🤩♥️💯 Food💯 They have wide varieties of choices for you which serves Continental , Italian& North Indian 💢🌮🍔🍟🍲

From there I like the Chicken 65 and Lehsooni Tikka the most 😋 their presentation was so good and The taste of it was delicious I really liked that 💯

Main Course 🍔 1:Wok Tossed Noodles with Chicken 😋 2:Chicken Tikka Masala with Butter Naan ♥️

Being a Die hard Chicken lover 😂 we tried all of the Dishes in Chicken 😋 which was a deadly combo 🔥♥️

Desserts🍨 The last but the best part of the food 😁💯 which we are waiting for with some empty spaces in our Tummy 😂

Bartender 🍾 1: Mr Prashant He was very good at his work and also made our Drinks the best we tried till date 😍😋
